Everything he does is precise. The passes, shot fakes, everything. He’s the most unselfish 17 year old in the history of basketball. He could average 30 right now if he wanted to, and might need to do in the tournament. Everyone talks about drafting Harper and taking the ball out of Lamelo hands well hell Flagg can do that and is just a better overall player.

Wemby couldn't even fix the Spurs.

Cmon man rarely do rookies fix a team from jump.

Not even LeBron could fix the Cavs from day 1. Y'all are over hyping Flagg it's crazy.

He’s been in foul trouble but did you just see those back to back drunks. lol good freaking lord. That one dude may never recover

Yeah.. that was a little after I posted. Nice to see him get himself going in transition. Even nicer to see him get the 2 handed dunk off the drive. I wish he would have demanded the ball on the play after that. After your two dunks is the time to dribble into that midrange jumper and force the other team to double.

Wemby didn’t come into a situation with Lamelo and Miller. If we had Wemby even his rookie year we make the playoffs. Relax bro damn. Lol

We can't even win with Melo/Miller right now.

I'm relaxed bro.

I’m just saying no one has ever compared Flagg to a Wemby or LeBron or some prospect like that. Even if an “analyst” has ever said that they are beyond dumb.

He’s damn good though.

IF bug IF we got Flagg, and kept miles. Would we put out the lineup of

Melo
Miller
Miles
Flagg
Mark

On day one? What say you? I guess you could switch Miles and Flagg on the fly.

So would I. Absolutely 100%. I just don't know what this new regime has in mind, so I out it there as a hypothetical.

No thanks to Miles if we draft Flagg. He's not a true wing and he doesn't fit with a guy like Flagg.

If we draft Flagg first thing I do is trade Miles for a 3&D wing.

No doubt. I'm just floating it out there as a possibility. Who knows what we roll into next season with. I'd love for flagg to be the guy though. He'd essentially be the age of a kid coming out of highschool but with a year of college experience. We have only seen a glimpse of what he can be in my opinion. He was at one point the top prospect in the 2025 class before he reclassified. I know you like Harper, but flagg has so much to offer a team moving forward. He will only evolve offensively and the defense and dawg in him are already there.

Cooper wasn't the only one who helped his stock today. Sheesh.

Ideally we would either trade Miles or bring him off the bench because we used some draft capital to upgrade the starting lineup.

I know things are tough right now, but imagine starting next season by adding Flagg + healthy Grant + healthy Mann + marquee starter.

In four games as an 18 year old Flagg is averaging 20/7/4/1.5/1 on 68.4% true shooting.

we would still have a subset of fans wanting to tank for a Boozer twin or Arenas' son or whoever

I don't believe that to be true.

We should go full Stepien and trade the farm for Jerami Grant and Jimmy Buckets instead.

People are getting way to emotional about the season lately and the short-term sugar hit is becoming far too appealing to them.

healthy Grant and Mann are the question marks for me.

I think Grant should be able to return to normal, hopefully he doesn't lose any lateral movement, but Mann I'm nervous about his back.
Especially for a small guard relying upon quick movements.

I’m just saying that even though he looks like a solid starter from day one, he doesn’t look ready to dominate an nba game.

I say that because he didn’t dominate the college game I watched.

So I think we need to consider how we can get a star through free agency or trade as well as the draft. Maybe Jimmy or Zion will be a free agent soon. Maybe steph curry will be more available than he is now. If you look at the current playoff teams, not many of then got there only through the draft.
