Comparing the top two from last year to this year's top 2, Holmgren & Wembanyama vs. McCain & Castle.

Gotta hype something.

Then are you are missing the point? The rookie of the year race last year was between Holmgren & Wembanyama regardless of when they were drafted. They will always hype someone in the race - it is the nature of promoting the race. You gotta hype something...

Sigh. letting it go.

I haven't been wrong about a draft pic so bad in a long time, but man Sheppard is looking like a bust for sure

When was the last time Steph Curry sniffed a GLeage game when was the last time a dude got sent to the g league cuz he couldn't hang out sustain minutes and then turned into a Steph curry caliber player?

I said he was gonna be Steph curry light. He's clearly not gonna be that. Maybe he'll be ok but I was clearly wrong in my assessment.

A massive g league game against scrubs doesn't change that

Houston sent Cam Whitmore to the G League this year after he had a strong rookie year last season. They just have a lot of good young players that need minutes.

Cam's rookie numbers per 36 were 23.7/7.4 with 2 stocks.

Unpopular opinion, George and Sarr could both use stints in the G-League

Sarr is #1 on the rookie ladder and probably the favorite to win ROY if he keeps up his recent play.
They aren’t going to send him to the G league.

George maybe.

Yeah the Rockets are the 2nd best team in the West. I don't think even Sarr would be in their rotation to start the season and may not have developed with less playkng if he was on the Rockets

Number #1 I think people are really miss understanding what I was saying.

I was so high on Sheppard, I literally called him the next Steph Curry. I thought he was miles above Sarr.

Sarr looks really good, very solid. He's looking like he might be the next gobert, maybe even better.

Sheppard might end up being good but I way over shot. Is all I've been saying!

I have to wonder what you are watching. Sarr and Gobert aren't even remotely similar. The Wizards put Kuzma on Sengun last night because they knew Sarr couldn't handle him. When Kuz got hurt Sengun went off.

I was impressed by how good Sengun is at getting position in the paint and scoring easily down low. He was scoring easily over Sarr and JV.

Sengun had his season high 38 pts last month against Minny— and Gorbet.

A lot of those points were on Randle. Sengun played over 40 minutes that game, Gobert 28. When Gobert was on him they set picks for Sengun several times. Sengun shot that weird midrange push shot several times over Gobert.

Minny has a big spacing problem now with Gobert and McDaniels. It is hard to have them both on the court at the same time.

And Rudy gobert isn't a top 10 player all time like curry is.

True. But there is plenty of room between a bust and Steph Curry.

I'm not saying he's a definite bust in general. But my prediction of him is a bust and I was absurdly wrong.
