The worst part of all this is the optics! Not only in that we're a pathetic laughingstock around the league. Also not that we have no real future as our overtly impetuous owner gave it all away for this clown show. And other teams are happily celebrating our demise as they collect high lotto pick after high lotto pick!

But even worse than all that, is the pathetic, indifferent, casual "could care less" attitude of our three $50 million dollar broke down, underperforming wannabe pretender stars milking $150 million or more out of our franchise laughing and joking as our season and franchise go down the tubes! and they all are tanking any trade value they might have that would help us get back som modicum of a future at all!

Little 3 unbothered! :clown: :clown: :clown:

And all while our delusionally arrogantly prideful owner doubles down rather than taking accountability and moving our big three before they have little to no trade value left!! He's pushing this franchise into the abyss at light speed.

I usually get to say hi to Bloomer after the game and maybe get a pic with him. I let him know where I'd be while he was doing the postgame show. About 20 min later he text me to tell me he was already on the bus.

Now, this is just a thought, and I have no real reason this believe it but that kinda makes me wonder if the media for the Suns are fed up with this and equally as frustrated as the fans where they don't want to be bothered.

The good news is, barring snow, I plan to drive to Ohio to visit a friend in two weeks and....you guessed it...watch the Suns in Cleveland. I'm sure that'll go much better than how they performed here in Charlotte.

Feel like Beal's the only one who cares.

Old ass team like Lakers who lost to Luka/Kyrie-less Mavs. At least they are not going after Butler and have brighter future.

Who could've guessed this would happen?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Saber will never leave. Matt will clone him to preserve the fanbase once everybody else has left. Only positive fans, no whiners, when he ruins the franchise.

And yet he's the one Ishbia is trying to offload.

I'll continue to follow this season until the deadline. I (hopefully?) can get to the Cleveland game. And then will see how the deadline shakes.
I'll still follow but will be disconnected. Praying we don't trade for Butler. Let this nightmare end. That would only extend it. Butler only wants the Suns because we said we'll pay him.

I am not leaving permanently. It'd be more of an extended break. Besides, busting Sunsbg's balls is cheap entertainment. Not to mention we need realism in here to counterpoint the overly exuberant rah-rah types since that's pretty laughable in and of itself.

I think I speak for most of everyone who frequents the game chats by saying that we, as a collective, are angry, generally disappointed, and frustrated at what's happened to our team. We were lulled into a false sense of hope and prospective growth by Ishbia's excitement and willingness to do whatever it takes to get us into a position of contention and keeping us there. Little did we know he'd immediately blow up a team that was already at that level, remove any bargaining power we had for trades by sending off all our picks and swaps, and acquire two injury prone and aging stars with enormous contracts that applied a huge block to our salary cap space.

We wanted to believe that this would work and even when the signs began to show early that it was a flawed idea and we were in trouble, we all held out hope it would somehow turn for us and that those bumps were growing pains. We jettisoned the coach (who was a poor fit anyway) and got an AZ native from the team who'd led a squad to upset us in the Finals a few years back. We listened as Bud told us how he'd planned for the trio of Suns to work cohesively and that we'd be a better team on the whole over the one from the season prior.

Yet, despite all that promise, here we are: Currently in 12th place in the Western Conference, with just as poor a record as of the same time last season, mired in a back and forth of wins and losses. Even though our SoS is one of the lowest for a significant stretch, we're losing games we should be able to win. We are quickly approaching the half way point in this season and are three games out of the last slot in the play-in.

I don't know what it's going to take as an organization to turn it around, but the front office better figure it out quickly. Fans are turning against the team by the day, and savings at the concessions aren't going to keep people showing for games. And while I'm eager to see what this group of people at the helm have in store for is, my fears are that somehow... they'll make it worse and we'll be right back to the doldrums experienced during the Sarver ownership where we spent a DECADE in mediocrity. The only problem this time will be that there are no avenues for us to get out as they were all traded away.

I don't know when we see the bottom of the barrel, but it's getting clearer and closer with each wasted effort.

If Houston's not interested in sending our picks back for Booker, we're not even close to the bottom of the barrell. If Ishbia deals the '31 for the privilege of paying Jimmy Butler $50 mil per, we'll be looking at a straight decade of irrelevance.

AtheJ415 wrote:I don't think it's possible to hate a team more than I have during this KD era. What a joke. KD, when yu get paid $50M a year, you are supposed to be the leader. That's why you had to go to GSW to cling to a title. The "I shouldn't have to be" crap is BS

The KD era has indeed sucked, but I don't blame him. He's been our best player during his tenure. But he's old. You can expect him to make buckets, but you can't expect him to dart around the court making all the hustle plays. That's for the young guys... that we don't have.
