Knicks burned all these assets for the Brass Treadmill
OG scored 31 last time in Toronto in just 34 minutes.
Looking back at that boxscore it looks like a good formula - Bridges played 41 minutes, no one else over 40, KAT and OG 31 pts each, JB just 12 but 7 assists, Payne 19 off the bench in 15 minutes, and Deuce 12 in 25 minutes. Precious 22 minutes.
We need Deuce and Mitch back or everyone will be playing near 40 or more every night. I will be surprised if Thibs makes any attempt to curb KATs minutes if he plays.
We need Brunson to get out of his funk. He's been playing with a bum leg for weeks and it is showing. OG as well. His offense has been weak for the most part the last month. The entire team forgot how to shoot 3s.
I have to hope Thibs really isn't this stubborn. He has to hear the chatter that teams are planning to attack the Knicks in the 2nd half because they know they will be tired. Right? I mean, really. He can't keep doing what he's been doing. IDGAF if they lose a few but, not because they are predictable and stupid! I would rather lose because Thibs gave the kids some run and it didn't work out than be run off the court because he played his starters 40+ minutes. With teams openly planning to exploit that.
Walt... are you torn right now or do you want the Knicks to win?
