You guys basically have him in witness protection away from Thibs. If he were freed, Thibs would sign him and play him 40 minutes a night.

Kings big man depth gets shallower but Robinson did not look an NBA level player anyway.

They will be looking for a big.

Going to be interested to see who the Kings add.

Robinson clearly isn't ready for NBA minutes and the Kings have a spot at the end of the rotation for someone that is.

I'm surprised Jae made the cutdown. He's only made 1 appearance for 5 minutes in the last month. Though, as a fan of a team that didn't waive James Johnson, and of which I thought it was an easy choice, I shouldn't throw stones.

We all know JJ is your "throwing hands" player. He takes the suspension so your good players don't have to. That's his role

I'm with you on that.
I'm not sure, but he must be providing some vet presence in the lockerroom. They did mention before the GSW game about he and Devin Carter going out for dinner and helping him along in particular.
He didn't even get off the bench when Keegan was out though, they just went smaller.

Could be useful for trade to have someone around $1.6m.

I think Kings are going to make a trade somewhere, open roster spot can also help with that.

He hasn’t even had to yet! His presence alone stops those things!

He’s not trade eligible until 2/27 because of how late he signed.

A good mentor is well worth his seat on the bench .
