Carlson didn't look like he belonged on an NBA court during pre-season. Now, neither did Gradey last year, but he was 19 and Carlson was 25.

I wanted to keep him over Bruno myself, but given minute distribution, coaching staff definitely thought otherwise. We'll see. I wish him success.

Yes we can. If we wanted to, it would likely be a 10 day.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Reminder, he is older than:

IQ, RJ, Barnes, Ochai, Gradey, Walter, etc...

We own his gleague rights. Not sure we offer a 10 day.

Why would we? Not like he's a young prospect, and Kaminsky is killing it with the 905. Maybe if an NBA team him up, the Raps will revisit Carlsen.

Okc needs to cash in the chips (picks) to go all in this season, like what Masai did to acquire Gasol

Do they even have roster room to keep all the players they will draft year? Its kind of an odd but real problem lol

We should sign and ask for all the OKC strategies. Just gathering info.
It's like the Raptors side mission for the season.

They will just trade a 1st or 2 this year....for a 1st or 2 down the road to keep the pipeline coming.

Essentially do what the Spurs did this year.

Kind of hoping they can trade Kelly & sign Kaminsky to a min deal.

Sure. But we get Kelly's deal off the books & possibly get a 2nd rounder.

Sure, but why do we need to sign Kaminsky to do that

Yeah but he's 35% for his career in the NBA and he was good enough to play over 400 games with a few teams. Carlson isn't NBA ready and turns 26 this year.

Kaminsky is far from perfect and obviously not a prospect, I'm just saying the team has a better option for a depth big man already and they're probably not in a rush to bring him back. If you're looking for somebody to step in for a month or two to help make sure Scottie doesn't have to defend 5s regularly (eg. Yak trade), you probably want somebody like Kaminsky.

Maybe we just aspire to get someone better?

Hopefully after deadline day, we add at least 1 younger guy with upside...like Ochai. And hopefully that guy is a C.

It honestly looked to me like Kamunsky was trying to show his ability to make plays from the high post. I was at their last game & watched the game.prior.

Part of me felt as though he was auditioning for the big club.

They don't need a super comprtent player as backup C. They just need someone that fits within their offensive scheme. Someone with a bit of experience & IQ.

That's the issue with Darko's offense. You can't just throw a raw C in there. Everyone is impacted significantly.
