Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.
1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.
Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.
You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.
If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Starters
C - Kristaps Porzingis (2023-24)
PF - Jalen Williams (2023-24)
SF - Jimmy Butler (2022-23)
SG - Devin Booker (2023-24)
PG - Jrue Holiday (2023-24)
Bench
C - Andrew Bogut (2015-16)
F - P.J. Tucker (2017-18)
G - Patty Mills (2013-14)
Rotations
C - Porzingis (32), Bogut (16)
PF - Williams (24), Tucker (24)
SF - Butler (38), Williams (10)
SG - Booker (40), Holiday (8)
PG - Holiday (30), Mills (18)
FGA Per Player
The objective with this team was to build a fascimile of the OKC Thunder build, with a spread floor and five players who can handle, pass, and shoot. Despite the restrictions, we have two legit lead scorers in Butler and Booker, who can also play off the ball and create for others. J-Dub is our do-it-all third option on the perimeter, while Porzingis provides elite finishing in the post, as a roll man, or spotting up beyond the arc. Jrue slots into the lower-usage role he now enjoys in Boston, allowing him to focus on knocking down open threes and attacking the weakest perimeter defender. Mills gives us a dynamic creator to run the second unit.
Defensively, we have two elite drop bigs in Porzingis and Bogut, and then a bunch of rangy, versatile wings around them. Jrue has the primary POA duties, but any one of Butler, J-Dub, or Tucker can also switch onto the opponent's primary perimeter threat.
Matchup
- Defensive assignments will be Booker-Lowry, Jrue-Allen, Booker-Bridges, J-Dub-Lewis, Porzingis-Zo. We switch off-ball options 1 through 4 to deny open threes to Snake's shooters.
- Our starting lineups are somewhat similar in construction, but I think we have a few offensive advantages. First, we have two premium offensive engines in Butler and Booker, compared to one in Allen. Second, all four perimeter players can create not only for themselves but for others, which allows to keep the churn going until we find an opening. Lastly, Porzingis spaces Zo out in a way that isn't true in reverse, compromising Snake's rim protection while Porzingis can remain in position around the basket.
- While both teams have solid benches, I feel like Mills with his off-the-dribble creation and Bogut with his passing give our second unit an additional offensive dimension, compared to McMillan/OG/Birdman.
Good luck Snake.

PG: 2017-18 Kyle Lowry 12.1 FGA- All Star
SG: 2000-01 Ray Allen 16.0 FGA- All NBA Third
SF: 2022-23 Mikal Bridges 15.3 FGA

B: 1993-94 Nate McMillain 5.4 FGA- All Defensive 2nd, 2nd in 6MOY Vote
B: 2019-20 OG Anunoby 8.2 FGA- 3 and D Swing
B: 2012-13 Chris Andersen 3.0 FGA

Lewis (36)/OG (12)
Mourning (38)/Andersen (10)
Alrighty, don’t really have time for a big song and dance here as I’m quite busy today. I’ll just make a few points:
1) Once again I think my offense can outpace most opponents due to proficiency from beyond the arc- 4 of my five starters are volume 3-point shooters in the chosen seasons. Fade has proficient shooting as well, but he’s met his match here.
2) Porzingis doesn’t have the durability to bang with Zo down low for this many minutes, and he’ll be doing it solo thanks to my spacing.
3) Bridges is an elite wing defender, and prime Kyle Lowry, while standing a relatively short 6 foot, was always strong enough to take on larger players. These together with my high end rim protection from DPOY Zo give me a strong network of defense to contain an admittedly formidable opponent. OG is also an effective secret weapon off the bench.

So, I wasn't clear in my request to durantbird that I wanted the query done if we were still tied when the poll closed.
We'll just wait until 10:37, and if it's still tied than this vote will be the decider. It's been stuck at 5-5 for a while so I don't expect a change at this point.
Thanks durantbird.
