I'm in. I think Reaves will be a bridge too far for the Lakers fans, though. They need to keep either he or Knecht for spacing.
Edit: and before people start calling me out on Vando and his contract, and why I'd accept it, it's Reaves and Knecht

Re: Miami and Lakers
I think you can match salaries without Reaves but it’s really tough. But probably possible. Then you have to dump Vando and add a first?
But if you can get Butler without trading a future first because you lost Reaves.. Think you have to do it right? It’s Jimmy butler and LBJ in the playoffs..
Think there’s enough left to be worth doing it.

Re: Miami and Lakers
Leaves Lakers too thin. And are the Busses willing to pay Jimmy? I can't see it.
Not the ideal return for the Heat, but they could flip Reeves(or trade Herro) easily enough. Much better than dealing with Beal.

Maybe just keep Knecht and add a couple of second round picks, or flip the seconds along with Vando to Detroit?

I don’t even think it’s necessary?
Miami should sit on Vando til next year. If he’s healthy, he’s a lot less painful to dump and a useful player. If he’s not, he still costs a late first to dump.
LAL needs another trade as they’re too thin at guard spots… (and the OP needs a third team to be legal anyways and a bit more salary out to fill the last roster spot with a rest of season contract) but LAL would still have JHS so could wiggle a decent vet min if you find it..

We could include Alec Burks. He's very useful wing depth and after this we'd have Reaves, Herro, Jacquez, Knecht, and Robinson.

Lakers need to get younger and more defensively oriented wing types. This trade for a washed up bum in Butler would set them back another 5 years

Re: Miami and Lakers
Heat could get:
Rui and Vincent is 28m and expire in 25-26
Vando, Knecht, Christie is 21.5m and can expire in 26-27
Lakers could get:
Butler, Burks, Pelle, Keshad
3rd team could get:
JHS+cash
Lakers would end up with:
Reaves, Butler, DFS, LeBron, Davis
Milton, Burks, Reddish, Wood, Hayes
Bronny, Pelle, Keshad
They'd have $4-5m to add a vet min and more for a buyout player.
