Yes, and he had a great game today. All those blocks and 14 Reb and 4 ast and a bunch of pick/screen.

We are two games out of the fourth seed, and none of the teams in front of us (DEN, DAL, LAL, LAC) look that scary right now.

I was mocked and ridiculed for saying this not too long ago.

That is because we are also two games away from out of play-in. There are two teams that could catch us if we are not careful.

Game with up and down… Ant make some mistakes but improve. DDV did not shoot well but he was good. Mike having the ball ion hands than any others .. Randle…. As usual, get his stats did not do much else. At least we win.

We had a power outage in the 2nd, and barely got to 20 points for the quarter. We had a power outage in the 3rd and scored 3 points in the first 4 minutes. We had a power outage in the 4th and went god knows how long without a basket (not for lack of good looks and bad misses.)

We won because we played a bad team who played badly. We we won because we took advantage of non Zion minutes. We won because Ant went crazy starting the game 7 of 10 from deep. But we would very likely have lost by double digits to any of the top 10 teams in the NBA, and that scares me.

+1, i/m not overexcited by the 2 wins. The same TO issues, sticky ball is still here. ANT was hot but it won't be like that each game. We play a bit better but still nowhere near contender team.

The last 6 minutes of that game (and large stretches before that) was some putrid disgusting basketball from both teams, with the teams taking turns exchanging ugly hero ball and extra sloppy turnovers while shooting a ton of bricks.
Neither team deserved to win that game.

Rudy looked much better and was very aggressive defending the rim, and stayed in his role offensively.
I don't get how it can be so different in most other games, where he basically refuses to come off his own man until the ballhandler has a layup/easily makeable floater. He defends very well without fouling so that's not it.
It's either lack of trust in his teammates to rotate or pride in not wanting his own man to score off a pass.

If Rudy played with the kind of smarts about where to be on the floor, and aggression like he did against the Pelicans, If he did that every game he could actually get back to being a fringe all-star level player.

I'm just trying to figure out how much all of this ownership mess is affecting the moves we may or may not make. It's got to be clear to everybody that we need to make a move.
