Ill offer this idea based on assumptions:
-PHX ownership will extend Jimmy Butler
-Beal will waive no trad clause to join Orlando
-Heat would be interested in extending Ingram
To Phoenix (Trade Beal, 1st)
-Jimmy Butler (1 year, $48.8 plus $52 million P.O.)
-Pelle Larsson (1 year, $1.1 million)
-2030 Milwaukee 2nd round pick via Orlando
-2030 New Orleans 2nd round pick
To Orlando (Trade KCP, Isaac, 2nd)
-Bradley Beal (3 years, $161 million)
To Miami (Trade Butler, Robinson, Larsson)
-Brandon Ingram (1 year, $36 millon)
-CJ McCollum (2 years, $63.3 million)
To New Orleans (Trade Ingram, McCollum, 2nd)
-Kentavious Caldwell Pope (3 years, $66 million)
-Duncan Robinson (1 year, $19.4 million plus $9.88 million guaranteed)
-Jonathan Issac (5 years, $84 million)
-2030 Phoenix 1st round pick (some form of protection)
Why?
-The Suns add Butler and look to extend him as they have new big 3 in Booker/Butler/Durant.
-The Magic add Beal to as starting backcourt as they increase their cap by $13 million/year while Beal still under contract for 2 more years after this.
-The Heat swap out Butler for Ingram and Robinson for McCollum as they look to re-tool around Herro/Ingram/Bam long term
-The Pelicans swap out McCollum for KCP and Ingram for Robinson while adding Isaac who can make Zion expendable this summer while they get out of tax short term and pick up a long term 1st.

That's awful for Orlando, too good for Miami and Phoenix, and probably close to okay for New Orleans.

If Orlando is considering Beal they would simply just trade for Lavine which is better player, friends with Paolo and cheaper.
Orlando respectfully declines for multiple reasons, one being that they have vested interested in Phoenix being bad so don’t think Orlando would want to aid in them getting better.

If the Magic want to change their starting backcourt I think there will probably be better options for them in the trade market than Beal, especially once contracts are factored in. With that being the case I imagine our front office would want some serious incentive to take on that albatross of a contract, incentive that I don't see PHX being able to provide.

yeah i dont like this for the Magic. Beal's contract is just too much. Not worth it. KCP has been playing well in his last 20ish games averaging like 36% from three and I look forward to seeing the starters fully healthy.

Yeah there's so many players that fit the "undersized scoring guard" archetype that are potentially available that there's really no reason for Orlando to take back such a massive contract. Just trade for Simons or Sexton or Poole or Lavine or Terry Rozier or...

I think some draft capital or a young player needs to go to Orlando. Beal is 31 on a huge 3 yr deal, 2 more after this one and one is a player option. Right now he's not worth a lot more than Buddy Hield.

DOA on Beal for ORL...PHX is stuck with that hot potato
I'd rather just send Isaac for McCollum or Cole, Jett and a pick for Sexton or Simons, or Brogdon or Schroder or basically anyone...

Orlando would need at least 3 unprotected picks to take Beal's contract

Now, if Phoenix were giving up Donovan Mitchell to Orlando, the resulting team balance would be similar (if Beal stays healthy) and they might be able to get some draft capital back. Beal's pretty much killed any trade value he might have had left with his play, health, and attitude.

If you're talking #1's that an exaggeration but I would think they'd need at least 1 #1 and some 2nds and some cash. Like I said before I see Beal as a bad contract. He's starting to look like a better shooting Monta Ellis.
