Not surprising but it makes sense the Heat don’t want Beal. Not sure who is going to want him and willing to trade actual talent/assets.

I would love to see Curry & Embiid playing together somehow

You think he’ll be a good screener for Curry? If he does, how will he get the ball back?

Beal supposedly has 4 teams he will waive his NTC for: Heat, Nuggets, Lakers, Clippers.
Of that list, the team that would be the most likely is DEN IMO.
I could see something like (rough outline):
DEN gets Beal
MIA gets Porter, various salary filler, 2 1sts
PHX gets Butler
WSH gets Nnaji, three 2nds

Re: NBA General Discussion: 24-25
OKC must be the absolute worst team to trade with. Top of the league, a bunch of future firsts, only really Hartenstein and SGA on huge contracts... What need would they have to entertain overpriced stars like Jimmy Butler or Beal? They have Aaron Wiggins on such an unbelievable cap friendly deal for the next 5 years and he's currently a 40% 3FG, 80% FT guy who plays great defense and is 6'6. They are the actual successful process.

Denver are trying to send that package for Lavine, and it would be interesting if it gets done.
Far more lethal off the ball threat with his athleticism, cutting and aerial finishing around the rim + one of the best catch and shooters in the league.
Beal is a trash can.

Lavine is having a great year after all that noise last year. I’d trade PG for him in a heartbeat.
always a jump shot away.

Could that fire in LA is leading a lot of these players to miss tonight’s games? Kawhi is

Crazy how teams much younger than ours, i.e. OKC and CLE, can be so much more composed than our spaz ass team.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Bona/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Drummond/Broome

Tatum lacks attention, and thats the emptiness he feels.
Nobody really talks about him or the Celtics because, despite being great, they’re not entertaining or showcasing the kind of otherworldly talent that captivates audiences.
They’re a team of stars to borderline stars who fit seamlessly together but don’t stand out individually.
To me, they’re like a more offense-oriented version of the Detroit Pistons—effective, but lacking flair.
Watching them is like eating bland food: it gets the job done, but there’s no flavor, no spark, and nothing truly memorable about the experience.
He’s not soft. He and his team is just boring.

Yep, Boston is the most balanced champions since the '14 Spurs and maybe even you could argue the '04 Pistons.
They don't relly in a Superstar taking over to win, and that's what audiences love.
They won the fricking championship while his best player was on the worst jumpshooting slump of his carreer lol
