That’s the size difference we have Bam banging with by himself on defense and rebounding and then offensively having him isolate against (with an additional defender or 2 collapsing) any time we want to get him a shot because we don’t have playmakers. I’ve never had an issue with small ball and he’s always played good and anchored elite defenses and rebounding teams in small ball but I’d love to see the differences if we played a meyers type big next to him again and matched him up with guys his size or smaller. I’m going to guess the efficiency jumps offensively a decent amount even with spamming isos because he won’t be shooting over a broomstick in his face

What's Draymond implying?

Is he saying that Jimmy's tired of the the team's ways, rules, culture, management etc?

Or is he saying that he's tired of the front office's failures to add stars?

He is implying what I meantion a few days ago. There is off court obligation of players to get involved in especially as a star to the team. Butler doesn't get involved. He is pretty much absent and leaves Bam and Herro doing these things. It's one of the reasons Bam has become the captain. Outside of basketball Butler is very non compliant. The heat have allowed Butler to do as he pleases. Butler media day hair thing is a hint to the public of how Butler is very flippant about the non basketball aspects. It's not just Butler being a comedian. Being a face figure on and off the courtvis usually part of your contractual agreement, but at some point the Heat are saying this is not going be allowed at 37 yrs old if you want to be the highest paid player on the team. It's the same issue the Heat had with Lowry. Lowry and Butler became a tandem that was really flippant on representation of the organization outside of the court. As an example if an organization wants to partner with the Heat they want to know will Butler be involved or all they getting is Dedmon or Orlando Robinson. Shaq Wade and Lebron was great representation off court for the Heat

So you’re saying Butler is tired of having to say no to the team asking him to take part in non basketball activities?

The way you framed your answer was more from the team’s perspective

My question is what exactly is being implied Jimmy is tired of? The team’s ways? Or the team’s failure to add a star? Or the teams non basketball stuff that he’s already not doing?

Im not disparaging them and their play this year. Im saying their production is replaceable. The org likes to keep their guys and pay them. This recent group we didnt sign worked out okay I think.
