When Boston played Houston I commented on Ime's love of veterans and his playing of FVV so many minutes while FVV was shooting pitifully this year at 37 +32 splits. Meanwhile Houston drafted the 3rd pick in the draft, R Sheppard. NBA GMs polled voted RS to be ROTY preseason and barely gets off the bench. So Reed gets his first G -League game and scores 49 :o

Amen Thompson, another high lottery pick, gets a rare start due to injuries and becomes the youngest player in NBA history to get 20+15-5 and No Turnovers. Not enough that Houston struggles so much on offense and especially in the half court. :nonono:
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Joe is better than Ime.

Just read the Cavs are undefeated vs the West going into tonight's OKC showdown. Pretty impressive.

Similarly, the Thunder are undefeated vs the East grumble grumble.

Now all their losses will only half-count. Smart.

Stars are coming back just in time for the Celtics to face them -- Barrett for TOR, Banchero for ORL, Zion for NOP, Kawhi for LAC, maybe Luka for DAL.

I am hoping that Phoenix finds a way to acquire some draft picks to trade with Brad Beal to get Jimmy Butler.

If the Suns fail at this Butler gambit, there’s a chance they admit defeat and trade Durant to a contender and even the possibility that they paralyze the trade market by opening discussions on Booker. Even if Phoenix doesn’t trade KD or Book, failing to land Jimmy will totally alter every other contenders trade talks. Just get Jimmy and do your little Big Three, please. Thanks

KD must be wishing he didn't leave GSW.

Another attempt at a super team that failed.

During the 2022-23 season, all KD had to do was tell the Nets to trade him for Jaylen Brown.

Pleasantly surprised Tatum is high on this list. He hasn’t played as much as some of these guys.

Connaughton is a weird one.

What stands out is that Tyrese Halliburton has more blocked 3-pointers than RWIII

Low scoring game so far. Cavs on pace to not crack 90 if this keeps up. 18 of their 19 previous home games, they've scored 113+.

Cavs doing a great job spacing the floor in the 2nd Q. Evan Mobley puts so much pressure on the rim. C's don't have that type of player.

Great game between OKC and CLE! Offense of Cavs controlling the game. Good job attacking paint with their speedy guards and bigs who can finish around the rim in traffic. Surprised OKC keeping pace with the scoring even without Chet.

This would be an awesome Finals… for the NBA Cup next year.

Cleveland is much better than I gave them credit for. Whole team bought in to making the right play every trip

Gritty win by the Cavs, 2025 NBA Champions. (This is how it works.)

Big men of the Cavs was the difference.

Maybe this is why Joe is going double big.

When the game got tight in the last 2 minutes, Allen and Mobley got rebounds and got to the FT line.

Can the Cavs lose a damn game? Ridiculous. Feels like they haven’t loss a game in two months. Well they showed tonight they’re the real deal. Hope they lose some steam later on.

Not really but they could take out the Celtics in the playoffs. This notion that they can’t is ridiculous. Celtics would need to play their best. Hope the Cavs lose some steam though but they haven’t showned it all year.

Knicks have no shot of catching the Cavs for the #1 seed.
