We are 11-7 since Thanksgiving, a step up from the 8-10 start. It might not be to the level we were last year, but not sure that was ever realistic.

Dude, we are one of the healthiest teams, we play a ton of games on rest advantages, we have played teams missing a ton of players (sometimes also on rest disadvantages,) and we have lost multiple games in a row to teams we should beat. We look bad in our wins and worse in our loses. Can you honestly say you expect this version of the Wolves to return to the WCF?

The answer is in the last sentence of my previous post.

Your prior answer implied to this point. My question was about the future. Given that the conversation was about the difference between a slow start and a problem for the season, this was not as clear as you think.

Started the season 8-1. Almost like the early season successes or failures don't necessarily mean a team will end the team the same way.

They're also been decimated with injuries.

10 missed games each for Durant, Beal and Nurkić, 8 for Allen and 5 for Booker.

And Minnesota was adjusting to a new roster, after going 2 years basically without a change to the rotation. Those things take time.

The change from DLO to Mike happened in 22/23, not to mention a small deal you remember as Rudy for 5 guys. We went one year without much of change to the rotation and that only applies if you ignore the fact that KAT missed more than half of 22/23 with injuries. Beyond the KAT return, NAW and Mike continued integration, and change of Kyle position in 23/24. Your excuse is… lacking in context and accuracy.

I'm salty watching the Cavs flourish with their two big model. We had it and that could be us. So annoyed the 2nd apron ruined our plan.

It didn’t. We didn’t need to trade Karl before the season, or even during it. We could have moved him next year. We moved him because he hurt his Knee before the playoffs, then reinjured during the Denver series. Karl’s injury history plus money was too big a risk so they decided to move him. I think we got an obscenely bad return, but that doesn’t mean it was only motivated by money.

True or False: NEITHER the Cavs or Thunder will make the finals.

Depends on injuries and matchups. My guess true.

False. At least one of them will be in the finals. We just witnessed NBA finals game one tonight.

People can rip the trade still but the Knicks aren't a ton better then the wolves right now and are certainly not a championship contender. And they have zero moves to make with their cap and pick situations

OG or Bridges out are the moves.

They don't have a lot of value

Bridges value is depressed, OG is still really good at defense and has some offensive game. OG’s money is tough to move, but there probably is a market.

They are undersized on defense and need to pair Towns with a big defensive player

The problems with OG are injuries every year and he rebounds like a SG.
