Not playing Kolek, Warren, Hukporti and Dadiet is a travesty... with this kind of starting lineup we have to play more players... we cannot afford to injure our best players... its another thing when you have 9-11 players at the same level and its not a big deal who goes down
Strength and Honour!

Sadly this win gets you more years of Thibs
With all due respect to everyone talking about this team
1) We won't know what we have until we get Mitch back. Mitch could change everything. We'll likely run some twin towers lineups. OG will play a lot more 3. Hart/Bridges/OG can rotate a lot more. Precious moves to 9th man, Shamat to 8th man, presumably. A lot changes when Mitch is in the mix.
and
2) The regular season record will be forgotten once playoffs happen. 2 years ago, the Miami heat made the finals with 44 wins. Nobody remembers their 44 wins being 9 less than the year before. Everyone remembers that they made it to the finals.
NY's season, and Thibs, will be judged on their playoff performance. Regular season wins are nearly meaningless when all is said and done.
If NY crashes in the playoffs against better rested teams like Cleveland or Boston, then he might get fired, but not before then, so it really is a wait and see, both on our full roster and on Thib's future.

OKC is a better team than we are, but they beat us by 10 when they had the home court. We have the home court tomorrow. It'll be a good test for us. If I was to bet on the game, I'd bet on OKC, but maybe by 4 or 5 points, not 30.

OG and especially KAT were great. I just wish we wouldn't risk his longterm health to beat the awful craptors in early January.

Mitch isn't coming back.
The team has regressed in play over the past two or three weeks. That's an indictment coaching.
Remember how the Knicks, back in the really sh*tty days, would look ok until mid December then the wheels would come off around Christmas through January? This looks like that but with some more talent.
Which means the scouting book is out on this team around the NBA, but Thibs can't adjust.
They'll get murdered in the playoffs, since Thibs has zero creativity and doesn't adjust well.
Precious is buns. If Mitch is coming back (he's not), hopefully they move precious for a SF with a pulse, since the Knicks don't need to have 4 backup C's who aren't any good on offense.
Maybe they can move Sims & Knoxilikina for Whitmore. Probably cost an additional pick. Not that Thibs would play Whitmore, lol.

People want him to defer to KAT, when he does, he sucks.
When he scores more, he sucks for not deferring to KAT.
He's playing through an injury, but of course everyone is saying he sucks for doing it.
Brunson should just take off 10 games like the other NBA stars do.
This forum deserves 48 minutes of Cam Payne and Elfrid Payton.

This team has looked horrible since before that OKC game. They got up for that game, Thibs wore them out, they lost and they've lost confidence.
OKC is going to blow them the f*ck out. And I don't like OKC, it's just that's how bad the Knicks have looked.
The defense is poor. The offense is completely out of sync. They can't hit 3's and the bench isn't any good, not that Thibs plays it.
2nd Tier playoff team. Hopefully Leon Rose can pull off some off season magic, because this team isn't it. At all.
Brunson and KAT are both hurt and probably should sit for a week or two each, but Thibs is chasing the meaningless wins.
OKC will be healthy and run them out of the gym.
20+ turnovers by the Knicks in that game.
OKC 130
Knicks 100

Sorry to interrupt you guys from bashing Thibs 24/7 but I’m here here to say rj is still trash and that barb pack is still hitting! Thanks Leon for the heist of the century!

Also Rj’s defense looks worse than ever. The amount of times I saw him ball watch and do the laziest close outs was insane.

he's a very bad player who is above-average-but-not-even-great at one thing (getting to the rim)

Very awful player and I’m so grateful I don’t have to watch him on a daily basis anymore. And more importantly he still has no bag and it’s super boring to watch. Can we call up Masai to undo the trade and do it again?
