Very awful player and I’m so grateful I don’t have to watch him on a daily basis anymore. And more importantly he still has no bag and it’s super boring to watch. Can we call up Masai to undo the trade and do it again?

*******for Rj?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too far, I wouldn’t even trade deuce for him

Also Rj’s defense looks worse than ever. The amount of times I saw him ball watch and do the laziest close outs was insane.

he's a very bad player who is above-average-but-not-even-great at one thing (getting to the rim)

#1 Option on a lottery team. Plays like LeBron, if LeBron was smaller, slower and less efficient. Don’t even think he has the skill set to be a role player, because he doesn’t shoot or defend well enough. The Raptors have a lot to figure out

He's playing through an injury, but of course everyone is saying he sucks for doing it.
Brunson should just take off 10 games like the other NBA stars do.

This forum deserves 48 minutes of Cam Payne and Elfrid Payton.

Yeah people must be blind to criticize Brunson now. But posters here are often blind and reactionary. We’ve seen a lot of it over the past year, so I’m not surprised.

That 3 game losing streak. We weren't losing because of a talent deficiency we were losing because of an energy deficiency. Its plain as day Thibs is over-taxing the starters. We need to get a deeper bench of guys he can play.

Thibs message to the bench.
I don't trust you to play while the game is in balance, because you're not good enough
I don't trust you to play with 4 minutes left up by 25, because you're not good enough
I do trust you to play with 2 minutes left up by 25, because as awful as you bums are, you couldn't possibly lose the game at this point

Kolek was on the court with Matt Ryan and Toppin, neither of them is NBA players.

And they were with Shamet and Sims. No one scored a single point against the Raptors scrubs who scored 8 straight in 2 minutes. They've been this awful all season. I'm just seeing pitiful excuses for them and blaming everyone else.

shamet and sims?! lord knows those two are the pillars of any great lineup

raptors emptied their bench at 4 mins. we had a 25 point lead at 3:20 with all of our starters in minus KAT. we emptied our bench at 2:20 up 26 and raptors went on a decent run lead by boucher.

lets look at context now

raptors bench mpg avg
Sheed - 16 mpg
Temple - 4 mpg, subbed in for the first time at 4 mins
Walter - 20 mpg
Boucher - 17 mpg, subbed in for the first time at 4 mins
Olynyk - 15 mpg

knicks bench
Kolek - 6 mpg, subbed in for the first time with 2:20 left in the 4th
Toppin - 4 mpg, subbed in for the first time with 2:20 left in the 4th
Shamet - 13 mpg
Ryan - 4 mpg, subbed in for the first time with 2:20 left in the 4th
Sims - 12 mpg

do you see the issue there and what might explain the reason our "bench" was outplayed by the raptors "scrubs". thibs sets these guys up to fail and people like you fall for it every time. I'm waiting to see if he ever puts these guys in position to succeed

Deja vu. These sound so much like Frank excuses again; "he was cold", "he needs at least half an hour of game time to warm up and do something positive", "he needs to play with the starters to cover his mistakes", "Thibs pulls him and destroys his confidence" etc. And now Frank is in Europe where he should have been from day 1. This same coaching staff developed players with actual talent, IQ, Grimes, Deuce, IHart.

Only Deuce and Mitch are bench rotation players on a championship team and they are always injured. We may have to begin to accept that this is not a championship year with the limited depth. It could take until the summer to be able to acquire decent players or hope a current rookie develops over that time.

We're use to a specific Brunson we've rarely seen this season.

I personally think his hand hasn't healed properly or maybe the hand was re-injured. Last season, I think he only had about 3 or 4 games where he hit 0 3's in a game. This season, he has 10. He's 6 for 43 from 3PT range in his last 9 games. That's pretty bad for a typically efficient scorer.

If he's hate, I rather them just say it. Let him rest.

I think he needs a week off. It's either his hand or his calf. Or both.
