It will likely be at least 2-3 years before we know for sure whether it was a good trade.
This thread will probably still be around to discuss it.

At least one thing has been established: we now know that CntOutSmrtCrazy thinks he's smarter than Will Dawkins.
& his evidence is that he's never been wrong about anything.
Tell me, now, how can anyone argue with that?
Fans have been criticizing people who run sports organization since probably the beginning of time, and have often been proven right....
Absolutely -- you're right. My remark was snarky, & I take it back. Sorry about that!
CntOutSmrtCrazy wrote:...I think Dawkins was an idiot for moving Deni. Read to me like it was a petty move that he didn't want a Shep guy outshining one of his guys...
Now that is really a reach!

CntOutSmrtCrazy wrote:Can't wait for those second round picks to convey or to trade them 4 of them to move up a spot or for you to give another sermon on the mount about why second round picks are so valuable (in coming insults coming to nate because he "once said people buy second round picks")....
Mostly I agree with nate. Why? Because he is smart, knowledgeable, thoughtful & extremely dedicated. So he's usually right.
Sometimes I disagree with nate. Why? Because in those instances I think he's not right. It happens, to him as to me as to all of us -- as I'm sure he would agree.
For that matter, I often agree with you. Even in this case -- I think deni is an excellent player! I'm glad to see him doing well -- for that matter, he was my choice to pick at 9 in 2020.
But any player, no matter how good, can be traded if the deal is right. & that's really the only place we disagree.
I think the deal was right. Bub, plus another R1 pick, plus a pair of R2 picks, plus Malcolm Brogdon seems like a good return for Deni Avdija. You don't agree.
Fair enough: obviously, time will tell. In the meantime, I imagine we'll both be rooting for Bub, & we'll both be rooting for Deni. & I'm sure we both hope we'll get a solid return for Brogdon.
Peace!
