Then you should watch Doc more, he constantly calls sets when they get the ball up quick enough. When they're slow to get the offense started, that's when they dump it to Bobby.

I wouldn't mind having Duren, but what a waste of assets to have Duren and Brook both sit while we run out best lineup, Giannis at center.

Giannis has no interest in playing center full-time. Dame/GA aren't there listening to Doc on the sidelines for the play most of the time

No matter what the match up is, Brook isn't playing 0 minutes

Brook is about to be 37, think it's very smart to start thinking of life after Brook

Clearly these blokes can raise themselves when they need to. Someone said this in another thread, but we need those young guys who can bring the energy and effort to regular season games that aren't so vital.

Sure, but shouldn't priority 1 be winning this year? We're starting Taurean freaking Prince. A below replacement level player year after year, in our starting lineup. The starting lineup has struggled terribly, including tonight. That's got to be priority 1.

Great win tonight. Let’s enjoy it. Great effort, good ball movement, and great three point shooting.

At the same time, we should recognize that we need an upgrade at the trade deadline. This Bucks team is good, but not good enough for challenge for a championship. We need an athletic wing, a mobile defensive-minded big man, and a backup point guard. Can we get two out of three while keeping our core intact?

My highlight of the game was when AJ hit that deep, deep heat check three (in the second?) and they cut to the bench and everyone was on their feet and whooping it up for him. Great team spirit.

Also, love the thread title. Wemby is awesome, but the rest of his team is terrible. Wasn't impressed with Vassel or Castle last night. I usually like those 2 guys. Paul hit some shots, but that's rare for him these days, and he might be the NBA worst help defender. Just too small.

Didn't get to see the game. But from watching the highlights the ball seemed to pop and guys looked engaged. Let's hope it's sustained for a good stretch.

Great game to be at. Thought the crowd was pretty good for a late Wednesday night game. When the moment is right they can turn up. The AJ Green threes had the place jumping.

That said, the entertainment during the game is just trash. I wish they wouldn't do it at all to be honest.

Giannis is a god. And Dame had a quiet game but put up nice points.

A+ thread title.

Green is really a ridiculous shooter. Not sure I've ever seen anybody with a easier release from ~30 feet. Even Steph looks a *little* labored from that deep (though of course he will drill it anyway).

Someday, Wemby will be a better player than Giannis.

No Wemby hate from me. His skill level is off the charts relative to his size. and he looms large on the defensive end like no one else in recent memory. Of course he needs to get stronger, and who really knows if his competitive spirit will allow him to reach his full potential? I'm still confident in saying if he's surrounded with decent talent in 5 years: the league is his.

Play AJ Green starters minutes. Period. Prince needs to be the 'odd man out' moving forward with GTJ also playing well and Middleton's minutes ramping up.

The fall off from Melanie Ricks to the randoms they have now is beyond massive.

Sidenote: I'd risk it all for Melanie

I also can't stand the in-game noise.

But then I realized that most of the fans are entertained by the mindless drivel that goes on in timeouts, etc. I'm still amazed at:

1) the adults who stand up and try and get an effing t-shirt and are screaming and fighting for it like it was gold.

2) the number of people who aren't in their seats when the game starts or at the start of the second half. When I use the bathroom, the hallways are filled with people just sitting around.

Taurean Prince will not be in the starting lineup in the playoffs. He's a minutes eater right now.

His shooting has regressed and in the playoffs, he won't get any open looks. Playoffs are for 8 man rotations, with the bulk of minutes going to the starters. With KM, Giannis, Brook, Dame, there are four starters. They need to find a fifth and then a couple bench players.

Noticed how much all of this detracts from the basketball games. Those I've attended over the past few years.

I'm not against in game entertainment. Its just taking away from the reason it's even there.

Although people not being in seats @ tip or 2nd half isn't new. That's always been annoying, especially when they come or go, mid-game.

The shirt announcement after every made 3 is so over the top. They're getting back on defense, but I'll ignore that & focus on getting a Gruber sponsored Bucks shirt.

probably Giannis will be still clearly better next year. I think it will be serious conversation the year after

Imo Wemby is a rich man's Porzingis. That's probably good enough to be an all-time great player and win everything you can win, but the way he plays leaves things to chance that he should just be taking.

Obviously he's got time on his side though.

Nothing brings an NBA team closer together and builds more chemistry than having a young white dude come in and sort of unexpectedly be able to ball on offense. Dead serious.
