Can't make this **** up anymore.

[Grant Afseth] Dallas Mavericks big man Markieff Morris (illness) has been downgraded to out for tonight's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Helluva chase down block by Gaff. Haven't been happy with his effort level the past few games so love to see that.

Jaden Hardy has been working hard on his game.

I will say it.....He's a keeper!

Hardy really kept us up in the game that half. Only real issue was his last play at the half where he had tunnel vision and didn't make the wide open pass to Klay.

Need Naji to step up in the 2nd half. A little too much Dinwiddie pounding the rock for my liking currently.

Can't believe they're going to lose to Portland again, ridiculous

Someone from Dallas send Chauncey Billups a nice Edible Arrangements basket. Truly no coach in the league better at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Also, thank you for pulling this out, the Blazers have been winning way too much for my taste lately.

What a dumb shot by Dinwiddie but thankfully Grimes got that rebound and got that And-1. Really loving Grimes creation ability. He's a very good end of shot clock creator.

This was a masterclass of two horrible coaches trying to do dumb thing after a dumb thing. Luckily for Dallas, some of the better Mavs role players stepped up to Kidd's stupidity and won in spite of him.

I'm just happy to get a win, regardless of how ugly. Got to at least stay afloat so that Luka and Kyrie don't rush back and make their injuries worse.

If nothing else, hopefully this stretch shows Kidd that Grimes or Naji should start over Klay. There's no shame in being a 6th man

At least Kidd actually has taken the Mavs somewhere. It's been a literal lottery **** show ever since "Mr. Big Shot" got the job.

I wonder what's Klay's trade value now.

Hardy is a heck of a catch and shot guy. I wouldnt play him with Kyrie so much. I would play him with Luka on the floor.

OMG. He is terrible. His small lineup killed Portland at the end, i think he wants to tank the game.
No other explanation.
He killed the momentum for Portland, his timing was incredible

Kidd on the other hands was terrible too, he can't prepare a game against a team faced 4 times in 2 months. I know he is slow but this time he setted the world record

PJ and Lively destroyed the boards (thanks to Billups and his small lineup of course).
Dinwiddie at the point is always painful to watch but Kidd (no) system doesn't help him for sure.
Hardy is a catch and shot guard. It's pretty clear.
He can't play PG, stop that stupid experiment please.
Grimes, Naji, Gaff, O-Max have some shine stints. Nothing special thought.
Klay can't make a shoot but he played a solid defense again, but he is useless in this type of iso basketball.
Nobody generate open shoots.
Kleber is still a no NBA player. Nothing news.

Take the W and the hype but we played very bad.

Face Redick and Billups teams were an Hallelujah for us, a lot of ex good basketball players are awful coaches. OMG.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
