Monk/Ellis

Plan is probably to wait until Demar is expiring and move him and picks for someone better and younger in Sabonis' final prime years.
and Wolves save enough money to keep NAW and stay under the 2nd apron, though not the first. Have to get lucky on a minimum center playing 15 minutes a night (or move DDV for one since Edwards will play 40 a night a the 2 in the playoffs and Shannon or a shooter off the street can cover 8 minutes if you can't afford to slid NAW there due to the lack of SF depth), but they have the best guard combo in the league, Gobert at the rim, 2 competent starting forwards and DDV on the bench.
Gobert - (Minimum)
Randle- Minott or Miller
NAW - DDV
Edwards - DDV
Fox - Conley
or if DDV is dealt for say Goga Bitadze as an example because Orlando needs shooting and Gobert will age slower if he's playing less minutes:
Gobert - Bitadze
Randle- Miller
NAW - Minott
Edwards - Shannon
Fox - Conley
Very young bench, but those young guys have some promise and Conley might be okay for one final year if he's playing 12 minutes a night only against backups. Good draft year, so maybe a couple undrafted free agents isn't the end of the world, teams like Tennessee, Auburn and Houston are all top 5 and have competent undrafted guys who play D and can hit a 3, might not kill you playing 15 minutes a night when someone is injured.
I would do this. Think it would make the Kings one of the best defensive teams in the L.
Sabonis/Reid
McDaniels/Lyles (resigned)
Murray/DDR
Ellis/Carter
Monk/Dillingham
Reid plays backup to the 5/4 to get around 28mpg. Murray and McDaniels rock paper scissors for nightly match ups and the guards of Monk/Keon/DDR/Carter/Dillingham has a good blend of D and O.
