Kerr put in Gui at the end to defend Harris' slightly bigger body. We've been playing small ball a lot so Kerr wanted a change tonight with Gui and Loon (about time) playing. Gui could switch off to guard the 1's and 2's as well as rebounding so playing him was the right call.

Gui played a great game, hope he gets some more chances. We got nothing to lose!

Wow....when Gui saves your behind, you know it's a rough season!

BTW, there WILL be a time when the smallish poor defender in Curry becomes a negative. Think of it: Unless he's scorning near 30 a night, how is playing an undersized guard scoring an inefficient 23 points a positive.

We're not there yet...but we are definitely closing in on that day. See Klay if you need an example - just a couple of years later.

then he should play more moving forward. then he's the other SF the team needs, so he should play instead of a guard who has been used at the 3 spot. proper positional size matters. question is, will kerr do it?

Noticed the same. I wanted to try to keep an open mind, since the circumstances (timing) were different. But I was not at all convinced the first foul was a great idea. I agreed with him that the second foul was foolish.

Playing Steph, Buddy, and Lindy together was an interesting idea that needed to be tried and to his credit Kerr finally tried it in this game. 3 shooters on the court to space it out for each other.

Their minutes together were a disaster.

Oh well chalk it up to experience.

Steph and Looney for some reason have been bad when playing together this season. Strange game where Steph, Draymond, and Looney were plus-minus negative but the rest of the team was positive.

By the way, Steph and Pat were seen on the court together! They were even positive!

Why does Kerr insist on playing Schroder together with Curry so much?

Can't he or the coaching staff understand that it's better to stagger Curry, Schroder and Hield's minutes?

Kerr did say that wasn't the game plan. So Dray just gave up on the play and fouled to not give up a 3. So Schroeder took it to mean we're supposed to foul up 4. I guess Fitz tried to cover for Dray and then just threw Schroeder under the bus? but what a terrible listen.
