i actually think we are doing better at this point than i expected. figured we'd be .600-ish around now.

my confidence is and has been that this team will be at its best for playoff time. this is still a new group figuring things out. the cavs have had their group together for a while now.

I think its 2-3 years...I dont understand why no one talks about this when they talk about the success theyve had JVG

It is why they are so good, after all. I still don’t like them or trust them though.

I havent watched any of their games so I dont have an opinion on their potential. However, they lost to ATL in two consecutive games;
thats not good...Did they get stronger from it? They did beat OKC...We couldnt finish OKC and Boston couldnt beat them...But the Cavs did...Time will tell for sure...

For this type of game, I'm expecting heavier minutes for our starters if it's close, and tbh, I'm okay with it.

We are going to have to play them heavier minutes at some points. We just don't need to do it for a whole damn season.

My only concern is bench development and team health. I think thats what separates us from the top teams. I just cant see us wining 16 play-off games with a rotation of 6-7 guys...

Preaching to the choir my friend. We need the bench to get their shyt together in the worst way. Thibs has the built in excuse of players being injured but, where is the next man up mentality? No one else is getting any opportunity to step up. He doesn't even try. Starting Sims after a month of not playing is not next man up. DNP/CD the rookies and two minutes of garbage time is not helping the next man up. We all remember how long he benched Evan for even when we needed scoring from the bench. He needs to change.

Gotta learn from the past. We showed we can hang with these guys and were outplaying them for the majority of the game last week. Rematches are big on adjustments so let's see what Thibs and his staff do cause it wasn't a perfect game even though we had a nice lead at one point. I think we gotta punish them with KAT if they continue to guard him with Williams and on defense, we must protect the paint a lot better and force more 3s. And hopefully we get a good and fair trio of zebras.

I'll be surprised if it isn't close late in the 4th.

Basically we have 8 players without Mitch and Deuce. We just have no consistency at all. It's a problem. If we can ever get healthy it will be a big difference.

Most of the time when Brunson is off and KAT is on is when the 2nd unit is playing against the opposing teams bench.
