Celts SUC, Lose To SAC! AOS vs Kings 1/10

Ugh you guys that game was thoroughly unpleasant! I demand a full refund.

Terrible defensive start for the C's tonight. I was just reading that we have the 4th best defense over the last few weeks, but it hasn't exactly looked like that at times. Seems like teams are coming in thinking they have to outshoot us from 3 for a chance to win, and we're basically just leaving the 3pt line wide open and not closing out at all on a lot of possessions. Or we just let guys waltz to the basket with no resistance. Weird.

It got a little better after the 1st quarter and looked like the Celts would pull ahead and get a win, but then we had a nightmare 4th and ended up getting blown out on our home court.

I've had a headache all day, so hopefully it's not just me being grumpy, but I couldn't not give our guys the AOS for this one. Burn my eyeballs and burn the tape!

You would have thought the OKC loss and watching the Cavs v OKC game would have lit a fire under the team. They honestly look like they don’t give a ****.

Literally within the first 1-2 minutes of the game, we gave up multiple WIDE ass open threes to good shooters. Defending proven floor spacers like they're Ben Simmons. Just don't even show up if you're gonna give that kind of effort lol

Boston is always terrible the first home game after a road trip.

Regardless, there’s no way they should’ve lost by this much. There is something off with this team and right now I think the defense is the number one issue.

Not all that upset about the loss for some reason, partly because I am a bit numb with shock about the LA Wildfiles (we have had tragic, life and soul destroying bushfires here in Australia) and also the Knicks got absolutely smoked by OKC so it doesn't affect us in the standings.

I am a bit perplexed by our struggling home form this season though.

Poor shooting and allowing the Kings to get a lot of offensive rebounds killed the Cs in the 4th.

Guess the Cs just need to survive the regular season.

Hopefully Brad makes a move for a bench player that can score in other ways and not just shoot 3s.

Cs need an alternative to Sam Hauser, who's just a specialist.

Teams are not leaving Sam open anymore.

Time to ignore the last two months of
Barely over 500 ball. Make excuses, deny anything is wrong. Claim its just the regular season, come up with some small sample misleading stats about why double bigs are a good way to play, blame our deep bench for not being ready, all while giving Doc Rivers 2.0 a pass because come playoffs the players will just turn it on.

Watched every game last year, only a handful this year.

This team is gutless, lazy, no pride. Joe is a **** coach - no X's and O's at all.

Every game they play against teams that show energy or aggression becomes a dogfight. Just got blown out at home against Crapramento.

Not seeing a repeat title in this squad. Jacking threes or drive-and-kicks isn't offense. They play no defense.

Pretty disappointed in Tatum. It’s not reasonable to expect him to play how he did the first two weeks of the season for all 82, but so many of these losses he’s kind of just rolled over and died. Has not had the signature MVP moment.

Defense has been bad all season. Guys look uninterested and doubling down on taking even more threes like you’re the golden era warriors with none of the shooting talent is just a very fun brand of ball to watch.

That 4th quarter was something else. Just a diabolical 6 mins that decided the game.

Our guards + jaylen lost the plot defensively on the perimeter. I understand Devin Carter isn't a knock down shooter, but it took 3 walk in makes for any sort of adjustment. Which was then to allow Monk and Sabonis wide open 3s.

A poor choice by Joe to leave Tatum on the bench until 6 mins, especially with Sabonis playing most of the 4th and predictably dominating the boards.

Pelicans up next, a clear bounce back game if ever there was one.
