Ridiculous what Paolo did in 26 minutes. If Cole doesn't play like crap and Suggs and Franz back we easily win this game. If this is the best Bucks have to offer with Giannis having to drop 40+ to stand chance, I'm not worried.

10:52 remaining 4th - Cole misses a 3.
10:02 - Cole lost ball, turnover.
9:30 - Cole foul.
9:11 - Cole bad pass, turnover.
8:24 - Cole missed 3.
6:04 - Cole missed jumpshot.

Thats the six most crucial minutes of the game right there. Went from a 3pt lead to down 7. Nothing but Cole pounding the ball and missing or turning it over and then being a turnstile on D. Game over.

We love to hate our players. Cole has had a ton of games he was complete crap but he wasn’t tonight.

Really impressed with Paolo's game, didn't miss a beat. The missed clutch free throw sucks but he carried.

GA can cook anybody in the league. Only way to stop that is to leave Dame and Middleton open

I was thinking they left Goga on an island too often. Should have had the guards dig down on a double and swipe at the ball. Make him ball handle. And if fouled make him shoot FT. Too many 1 on 1 dunks. Felt bad for Goga

As i said.. it probably was letting GA shoot a tough 2 rather than open Dame or Middleton that Coach Mos designed.

But yeah... i wanted Goga to just foul hik rather than his token defense

I watched the game. We get blown out if Cole doesn’t contribute what he did. I take the good with the bad. We were down so many players ahead of him on the depth chart.

Eh Cole didn’t seem that bad in person. May be different if focused on TV. He is not why we lost though. It was our inability to stop Giannis, the heater by Portis with Giannis out, and Lillard’s foul baiting. Plus we had numerous good 3s rim out. I thought we fought valiantly against a contender at full strength while we are hobbled and lost 2 more in the game

It felt so bad watching Bitazde and Isaac get dunked on and forearm shivered by 34.

Cole made his mistakes, but the game would not be that close without him. He made some big shots towards the end.

D J C wrote:These close losses and winnable games are going to come back to haunt us. Season can unravel real quick. 2 GB from the 9 seed with Philly w Embiid, then on the road to Milwaukee - Boston, then Jokic to finish the week. Good chance we’re back down to a play-in spot by next weekend.

The team either gets healthy and they start climbing the ranks again as the 3rd best team in the East, or they don't get healthy and it doesn't matter anyway. We'll see what happens.

No, you're right. It's really just me trying to make myself feel better. Another thing that consoles me is that this was a minute restricted Paolo. We played a good team really tight and beat the spread.

I was at the game tonight, a few takeaways:

Paolo is so much bigger than I thought he was. He’s not only tall but has tree trunk legs, and still moves like an agile cat. I was actually shocked at how solid and huge he looked.

Please for the love of god get rid of Cole Anthony.

Anthony Black was so much better in the minutes he played.

At the end of the game the Magic coach was cussing up a storm as he walked back to the locker room.

For a banged up Magic team, they have really great effort on defense. Jonathan Isaac is my favorite Magic player, he’s awesome on the defensive end.

Paolo overtook JI as my favorite player this year.
But I'm starting to be a super basic fan in the sense that my order of favorite players is now something like 1a) Paolo, 1b) Franz, 2) Suggs, 3) JI.
I think Mo would be right around 3rd or 4th too. There's no one I dislike on the team, to be honest. Everyone has brought the energy and has their strengths.
