Schotty doesn't call plays in Big D. I could see Pete turning back to Bevell though.

Actually there’s a really good chance that Scotty is gone even if McCarthy resigns with the Cowboys. There’s been a lot of talk about the lack of motion in the offense. If they keep MM I would think they will move on from Schotty and look to bring in another OC.

Robert Kraft knows some specialists in Florida that can help Jerry Jones with lack of motion.

Mark Davis will love him.

You need an OC & a DC. Pete is a CEO.

The bigger issue for him was the defense. The last time he had a top 10 defense in Seattle was 2017. It progressively got worse over time. The offense was really less of an issue tbh. They were a top 12 offense with Geno.

Yeah, people hated him but his record as a coach generally exceeded expectations. I don't know if I'd call that bombing, but I hope no one does hire him. I think at some point someone will though, maybe not this year.

Based on his history i think Jerry (and his son) have that kind of motion handled. I’ve always thought that Jerry must really take care of his hoes because none of them have ever sued him.

I’m at the point I’ll be kind of shocked if Flores gets another chance (at least this quickly).

I think all of the negative feedback for him weighs far more than going 19-14 his last 2 seasons.

Clear as day both QBs hated him. Has a single offensive player from Miami came out publicly for him? His former 5th overall pick franchise QB, came out and flat out blasted him. Now Fitzpatrick coming out and saying he was a dictator, and to me the biggest thing Fitz said was, he highly doubts there would be a single coach from that Miami staff that would speak positive for him in a job interview.

Culture is the “it” word right now with head coaches. And what are the two biggest question marks with Flores?

1. Doesn’t know how to treat a franchise QB.
2. Seems like he created a horrific culture

Those two issues are going to be very tough to overcome. Ya Flores is an elite defensive mind. Teams are just going to say, okay well we will just hire him as the DC.

The Miami situation had to be pretty damn bad. That Tua publicly spoke about it, Fitz publicly spoke about it. And then no one has come out saying those guys are wrong.

I remember someone suing him last year about a paternity. Still he seems like someone with more skeletons in his closet.

Carroll's last year Seattle had the 21st offense. They were 20th in 2021, 17th in 2020. You dont want him or his staff anywhere near a modern offense, especially if you have a young and developing quarterback.

Only way I'd hire him if my offense is set but I need to shore up other aspects of my team, only Bengals come to mind.

His coordinator hires have been an issue. I'm not debating that. Again, it wouldn't be a slam dunk, homerun hire. But Pete would be better than most of the coaches they've hired. His teams are always competitive. It would be a step up for a team like the Raiders.

Fwiw I don't think he's going to get the Bears job.

That was actually his daughter that sued him. I believe Jerry won that case too. Kind of. I believe she was going to sue him when she was younger and he settled out of court. He agreed to pay for her college and she agreed to sign an NDA. Now she is on some reality show and wants to use his name and she sued him for that I believe. The mom though has never sued him.

Were interviewing BJ & Glenn tomorrow/Friday & Saleh next week.

Most Raiders fans want 1 of the Lions coordinators to get hired.

Not sure they have an interview scheduled but the Bengals seem to be interested in Eberflus for their vacant DC spot.

What are the chances Dion coaches his son if he falls to Las Vegas? Been hearing Mike Tomlin might get traded I mean when it's the last time an NFL coach got traded?

Zero, not happening.

We are not interested in either Shadeur or neither Deion.

I think you guys land either Ben Johnson or Carroll.

I'd be shocked if Ben Johnson chooses Raiders out of all the options
