Lakers-Blazers with Jazz

Post#1 » by zimpy27 » Sat Jan 11, 2025 7:48 am

Lakers get RW3, Banton
Lakers give Vincent, JHS, unprotect LAL27FRP(1-4)

Blazers get Vincent, JHS, CLE25FRP
Blazers give RW3, Banton

Jazz get to unprotect LAL27FRP(1-4)
Jazz give CLE25FRP

Lakers unprotect a pick to get a young backup big and guard
Reaves, Christie, DFS, LeBron, Davis
Banton, Knecht, Rui, Vando, RW3

Blazers get an FRP for RW3, save a bit of face from the Jrue trade

Jazz get the high upside variance on the Lakers pick, move an FRP that looks to be 28-30 range.

I like it just fine.

Looks good.

Interesting wrinkle adding in Utah for the pick swap…but if LAL are willing to give up thier 27 pick with light protection, why would’t Portland want that rather than the Cleveland pick.
Why is Utah here, did I miss something?edit. Never mind I see it’s just unprotecting the pick.

I like it.

Utah already owns the pick, but LA has a top 4 protection. Here, Utah is looped in to give a very late 1st this year in order to remove that top 4 protection and get the pick totally unprotected for that year.

My only suggestion is that LA might owe Utah the better of their two 2nds this year, as part of it? But maybe Utah just doesn’t care.

I see that now. Read it wrong.

Well, this is rare. I'll send it in to the league office.

This violates 40 years of tradition and…

…just kidding, get it done.
