Posted too early on the PHO-6ers game. PHO got better as the game went on.
6ers muddled along and lost. Beal was really good (good for him!). Neither KD nor PG3
was that good (KD hit a couple 3s late). KOjr was a bright spot for 6ers. If Embiid
is still out, we could surprise them and hurt our tank. Maxey wasn't much of a factor
scoring well but no Embiid and not enough from PG3. 6ers bench was invisible.

I was just glancing at the stats and just realized how impressive a season Evan Mobley is having.

His stats are way up across the board and he is currently averaging 22.4 points 10.4 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.2 steals per 36 minutes on a TS% of .653. He ranks in the top 20 in PER, WS/48, VORP, BPM, TS added while being one of the league's best defenders.

I think it's safe to say he is a top 15-20-ish player in the league at this point. Let's hope Sarr can have a similar career arc.

49% of his shot attempts are at the rim. I think he is getting a lot of easy layups/dunks rolling to the basket. He isn't that dynamic off the dribble.

Sure. Because he plays center half the time. He has played 522 minutes alongside Allen, and 544 minutes without him as the sole center. Rim-running centers like Gafford get 65-70% of their shots at the rim. Forwards who don't specialize as shooters, like, say, Avdija, get about 30% of their shots at the rim. Mobley is understandably somewhere in between.

Just watched the Thunder without SGA and Hartenstein out and they almost beat the Mavs in Dallas. They play the right way without their best players, and the bench stepped up and hit shots. The culture in OKC is awesome to watch. They play defense and share the ball, and everyone can hit a three. Needless to say, they are the complete opposite of what this Wizards team is.

Who's the genius in the Lakers' organization responsible for letting Ivica Zubac end up with the Clippers?

LAC could be a tough out in the playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell, James Harden, Ivica Zubac, Nicholas Batum, Amir Coffey, Derrick Jones Jr., Bones Hyland.

They could use Valanciunas.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

It was back in 2019 and it was embarassing. I remember seeing a report about Jerry West, who was working for the Clippers, laughing about it.

If i remember right the Lakers did it primarily to clear cap space.

i never heard about Jerry West having a chuckle. Thanks, tontoz!

Here's the story on that:

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2828534-jerry-west-clippers-brass-reportedly-laughed-at-lakers-after-ivica-zubac-trade

Ironically, after the Lakers lost that trade, they still ended up winning the 2019-2020 NBA championship once they fired Luke Walton and AD stayed healthy.

The tank is really rolling now. Raps are about to beat the magic for their 11th win. Utah is the only team left with 10 wins.
