Damn I'm guessing they sent that to the league and felt justified with the suspension after talking to them. It's gonna be interesting to see if there's more to it than that, if it's just that then I don't think the 7 games stick maybe a game or 2.

Riley is gonna be pist Hardaway. They want to keep it in house regardless what Jimmy does publicly

So the plan is 2026 free agency now apparently. Makes you wonder if they have some assurances or feel very good about landing a big name or 2. I’m saying this because while our FO isn’t good anymore surely they aren’t just banking on FA whenever that doesn’t seem to be the clear route to team building though. Maybe they think someone is coming available for trade as well that they can absorb into space, it’ll give them options at least.

What if the Kings miss the playoffs this year? Fox for sure isn’t extending if that’s the case but will the Kings trade their franchise guy or will they take the risk that they can lock him back down in free agency (assuming he doesn’t ask for a trade this summer)? We can make a huge run at Fox in 2026 as of right now and get him without giving up the assets it would take to get him this summer

Things are still pretty wide open in both conferences atm. I think from now till the trade deadline one of the contenders might hit the panic button and want reinforcements. Hopefully one of them offers something decent.

But ... and I can't stress this enough ... Jimmy doesn't have the power to sign anyone at any price. That's Pat. If Jimmy could spend the Heat's money, he would have given himself an extension. The fact that Pat made a poor decision in order to appease Jimmy doesn't absolve him of his total responsibility for the boneheaded move.

It only looks poor in hindsight though. The contract was always a bit high yes, but Lowry was a player playing a position we needed who just also happened to be Jimmy's mate. The FO had to have thought that acquiring Lowry was a coup because it filled a position of need AND we get someone JB likely signed off on. Didn't pan out quite as it could have, and Lowry ultimately was a dud. When do players become accountable for their actions and play? Also, there isn't a front office in the league that gets every single decision correct every time. People worried about us being a play in team now without Jimmy, we're a play in team WITH Jimmy.

We didn’t need hindsight to know that contract sucked. Many of us (myself included) were extremely critical of the Lowry pick-up when it occurred. Take a look at his “Welcome to the Heat” thread on here from when it happened.

Ain't that "the truth" lol.

He was good. A long career. But can't think of signature Paul Pierce moments other than the infamous wheelchair game, lol
Wouldn't Khris Middleton have accomplished pretty much the same thing if he were to have those years PP had in Boston? Or Glen Rice?
If Wade spent the whole career in Boston, NY, Chicago or Lakers, he would rival Kobe in history.

Ya, tired of the speculations about the behind the scene dramas surrounding Jimmy. Who cares! The marriage is over. Just want the divorce process to be short n swift.
I'm getting more excited about the current team minus Butler. If we can get a competent pg out of the Butler trade, we can be pretty good

what if Riley gave him the green light to leak that? Tim been apart of the heat long enough to not slip up like that. this gives more context to Haslem and Jimmy's argument on the bench during the game too.

If Wade doesn’t have chronic knee injuries and doesn’t dislocate his shoulder in the midst of winning mvp in 07 he’s better than Kobe while being in Miami :o

You know “The Truth” behind the wheelchair game don’t you lol?
