Hey only 5 pages of complaining after an AOS game. (Well 6 I guess after this post haha.) In the past this would have been 15-20 pages. I was worried my grumpy ass OP would make people even more grumpy.

I think the poll got it right. The effort wasn't there. Most of the other stuff was a symptom of that imo.

I hate watching them loaf through games, but on the other hand, if the main issue is effort, at least they can fix that by deciding to play with more effort at any time they'd like.

These 4th qtr collapses make me wonder whether they are fatigued. Lets not forget that 4 of our starters played in the olympics . I think we will play better after the all star break

Jennings stated that Tatum is "the Softest Superstar" in Celtic history" and Tatum's response was basically it comes with the territory of being a Super Star. Which is somewhat true. But I do not recall any Celtic great ever being accused of being "soft". Some of our own fans have said that throughout the years as well. Also things like lazy, too Cool for school, unfocused, not motivated at times and definitely heard a 1000 times he Cries/Complains way too much. At some point I do wonder If Tatum ever looks in the Mirror and sees if there is any merit to it, or does he just not see or care about any of it.

Tatum is great for who he is. I've called him most of those things. He isn't a lazy person, but at times he plays lazy by settling for step back or side step 3s, instead of attacking the paint. He has gotten better, but he isn't a leader. Which is fine. But to me, if your supposed to be a superstar, you also have to have leadership abilities. Otherwise you're just a really good player who puts up great stats.

Tatum was probably our 3rd or 4th best player in the playoffs last year. Brown, White and Jrue all stepped up more than Tatum.
Celtic fans already know Tatum and Brown aren''t enough. Brad knew that. The team started taking off after getting White. The team went to the next level after acquiring Jrue and KP.

This year, coach Joe thought it was a brilliant idea to get the team to shoot more 3s. White, Jrue, Al and Hauser were among the best 3 point shooter last season. This year, all of them are struggling from 3 compared to last season. Why? Because they are shooting more 3s because that's what coach Joe wants. And to do that, they are forcing 3s, taking more contested 3s and shooting them from further distance instead of letting the game come to them like last season. Stay with what worked last season, Joe!

Great post and so true for the Bold. I am all in on 3s but with regular ball movement/cutting/drive and kick. But they settle so many times. And how many times were we 5 out and No one actually goes inside to attempt a rebound. PP probably has more rebounds in less minutes at 6'1 than 6'10 Al Horford who literally just camps out on the 3-point line.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Well, the truth is many posters got what they wanted last season with a title and legit care far less for this regular season. Apparently just like Boston.

Watched this when I got home last night and fell asleep after the 3rd quarter. Apparently the team did too. Stealth tanking to get Fleming in the draft is fine, but they should probably try to be a little less obvious about it. Silver is watching.
