That 12-2 run by the Bucks in the 4th was a big swing. Really from the start of the 4th through the 5:29 minute mark we had issues. We ran the following lineups during the first ~7 mins of the 4th. We went from +3 to -9 by the end of the 12-2 run.

Cole|AB|P5|JI|WCJ (-4)
Cole|AB|TDS|P5|WCJ (-1)
Cole|AB|TDS|Caleb|WCJ (-3)
Cole|TQ|TDS|Caleb|Goga (-1)

My main critique of those rotations is that Queen/JI should have gotten more burn and Cole/Caleb less.

Fawzan gets it about Anthony Black. He sees his all-star upside from a size/skillset/iq standpoint, I see it from statistical comps standpoint. I love that he sees the all-star potential. P5 does too.

I’m not saying Cole played well at all, but I think the people who hate him and want a scorer are over emphasizing his impact on the game last night whether they were there or not. A couple other observations:

- the size of Lopez and GA were big issues. We often would get offensive rebounds or interior passes and those guys would front one of our guys and our guys would just pass it back out. It was weird because we’re usually the bigger team but we are playing a bit smaller and Wendell Carter is playing really small inside right now.
- I really want to watch a game and look at the ball rotation on DeSilva’s jump shots. He has great form and range but then sheer number of rim outs makes me think he might have a sideways rotation on his shot so when he doesn’t get all net he risks having the ball do weird things on the rim.
- Black has it when he is on. I’m very pro playing him more even if he makes mistakes to get through this and get him to where he can deliver like he did in that spurt last night more consistently. I think he is on the Suggs path and year 3 it will click him

This is best Giannis ever, and Bucks FO just pissing in wind his prime. My jaws dropped when i saw that end of 1st quarter dunk.
Guy is simply unguardable with that mid range. 95% don't have size, other 5% don't have mobility nor strength. un freaking believable.

If i'm Bucks GM i would be all over Lopez & Middelton trade for 3-4 good supporting cast players. It's annoying how amazing Giannis is and Bucks still fail to build contending roster around him ( and screw up a lot since they won title).

Nice to see Banchero back, his 3 point shot was wet, didn't make it to push game to OT but really can't blame him for L.
We need Franz and Suggs back, i have zero desire to play this "Uber-Giannis" in first round.

Yeah, I actually came away from the game feeling the same. This game was a lot more about how dominant Giannis is. Unstoppable in the paint. And he's hitting a mid-range 2 with some consistency. This is the best version of Giannis ever.

I’m with you all day on the Anthony Black topic. Kid has it. I figured his game would take a couple of years to adjust to the NBA, but that stretch in the 3rd quarter tells me that he has “it” if he wants it.

He's been playing, he's the 3rd guard getting ~24 mpg. You want him to start? KCP and Suggs are better by a wide margin.

All I want is consistent minutes and consistent aggressive effort, particularly on the offensive end. NO excuses. I believe he's good - let's see if he can be consistently good...Today's Lead Guards get points AND assists, not one or the other. I believe he has it in him, I don't believe we have 2 more years to watch him grow like proud grandparents...Let's go!

AB's offense is G-League level unfortunately... I don't think there is much upside to it. If it wasn't for his Elite defense he probably wouldn't even be playing. It's probably worse than Markelle Fultz from last year. At least Fultz had offensive feel and could navigate an offense and get to his spots off instinct. Black doesn't even have that.

Queen is so legit it's ridiculous. I would never argue against Queen getting Cole minutes. Maybe check if Cole is on a heater in the 1st half and if not, Queen time.

Can we please be more realistic. It's not always bust or star. AB is one of the worst offensive players in the leaque. We can be happy if he becomes a good role player. If he becomes a star, great, but it's much more realistic he becomes a role player/ solid-good starter with all his offensive limitations. If he still can't shoot 3s on solid volume next year (and still can't finish at the hoop but I'm less concerned about that) it's more a question if he is a future starter than a star.

Paolo wasnt aggressive going towards rim and was shakey with some of his movements, dribble and he still finished with 34 pts. Very impressive.

Yeah…back to tough pull-ups from mid-range…which he generally makes, but… :-?

He struggled with his dribble. But there wasn't much driving lanes given Goga/Black being on the court.

Brook Lopez was able to just park himself in the paint a lot during those Goga minutes.
