Also, the Warriors in 2013-14 with Mark Jackson were -6, with the same roster they were +23 the next year with Kerr. The Cavs were -6 last year and -5 the year before with Bickerstaff, they're +11 this year.

I've come to the realization we may not get there this season. Very talented team but we just not gelling yet. We've seen glimpses of what can be which is a positive and our record has given us hopes of greatness and championship aspirations but you can't build the type of chemistry needed for a chip in just half a season.

Against teams .500 or better we are 88-120 (9-11 this season) with Thibs as our coach in 5 seasons.

We are this vs bad teams

Remember early in the season I kept telling everyone this team can't beat contenders and I got killed for that. Now everyone is finally realizing that it was the truth.

Is this the playoffs?! How Sixers, Pacers, Kings, Warriors, Suns, Lakers and Heat performing?!

You are vocal (read: noisy) only when the team suffers and struggles… and whats more grotesque you keep defending the head coach who is as incapable as his lead assistant!

We have never been able to beat contenders consistently, you were saying the right thing, but for the wrong reasons.

It's debatable if it's a thibs problem or a roster issue, or maybe a combination of both which I think it likely is imo. But all I knew is that this team currently, ain't it and people were in denial about it.

We have the hardest schedule in the nba now so that's likely gonna lead to a coaching change or a big trade.

The roster is fine, the general directing the men isn't. It's not at all debatable, give this roster to Mazzulla or any other coach under 60 and we'd be taking 50 threes a game like the Celtics, instead we're 24th in the league. The man has a sports car and is using it like it's an F-150.

That Thibs pack gonnna hit like the powerball

I think we can beat the Bucks, the team I really want to see us against are the Grizz. They are deep, have a stretch big, play at the fastest pace in the league, have huge lineups, take a good amount of threes, offensive rebound and they are a top 5 defense. Their offense is funky too and really takes advantage of defenses that don't switch, so I'm interested in seeing how that turns out because in theory it could get ugly, they are really unconventional.

Back to the drawing board. With the tough schedule we will really get to see what we have and how good the HC is the rest of the way. Time to get the bench up to speed. We know we have the firepower when things are clicking for the starters. We need to get the bench guys up to speed. Logical next step. They have to stay healthy. We have work to do. If Thibs wants to keep driving full speed towards a wall it won't end well. Slow it down and work out the kinks.

The Knicks -- until proven otherwise -- are a Tier 2 team. Bucks are a Tier 2 team. I see a Knicks W, but Bucks are 2nd in 3P%, so if they're popping early, everyone is going to be cussing in this thread.

We're going to either have a really good game, or someone is being blown out. Bucks turning point seems to be the spanking the Knicks gave them. They'll be extra motivated. Knicks creditability should be highly questioned right now. Very minimal quality wins.

Such as? It's been 39 games. The bench has been healthy for 4 of them and not even fully healthy at that. That gold fever win streak is kinda putting fans on tilt. It's easy get swept up with shiny new toys but, you gotta break in a new glove so it fits properly. I was getting caught up in it and this gut punch was necessary. The talent is there. They need time to put it all together. Back to reality folks.

At this point in the season, I think its better to just wait on Mitch than do a trade for a Mitch replacement. He's played for Thibs for the last 5 years, knows the defensive rotations and is really good at rebounding and defending the paint, which is exactly what we want to trade for.

I'd understand if they shipped him out at the beginning of December and let the new center get acquainted with the schemes while beating up on weak teams but now we got a tough stretch of games and Thibs probably won't trust a new player to play 15 mins a night.

THANK
YOU
BESART!!

We sadly will win today, and will masquerade off another win, but when it gets to the real big dogs, aka okc, Bos, Cle and even Houston to some extent, we’ll still lose.
Winning these games just delay the inevitable with this head coach.
