It's not that simple.

The Knicks have taken 20 shots in the 1st quarter. Brunson has taken 11 of those shots..not counting the shots he was fouled on for the 7 FT's. Only one ball.

I don't like this type of offense because it won't work against elite teams, and once the defense adjusts/doubles to get the ball out of Brunson's hands the rest of the team will be lost/out of rhythm.

This is what I don’t get, Thibs plays each game for the win. No forthought re getting the team ready for the playoffs.

Brunson having a career night and the board, rightfully so, is not exactly into it.
Winning is nice, but this game is not really fun to watch.
