Knicks still have a lot of work to do before they can hang with the top 5 NBA teams, but I like that they can pretty much overwhelm everyone else with sheer offensive talent. It Shows that there's a ton of room for growth still.

They got 3 more months to figure out the way they can hang with the elites of the league.

Define the word "hang" because fully healthy, I think the Knicks are right there with the top 5 teams. This "a lot of work to do" is just fans expecting perfection from a team that's still working on their team chemistry. I do think the Knicks bench is a concern and probably finding a consistent 3rd scorer. The other teams are deeper. The last OKC game sucked and so was the first game against Boston, but overall, the Knicks were right there.

Sure, but without comprimising the core... I would only sacrifice Hart if there is a chance to add a DiVo type of player to add more shooting (and that with the condition that he will revert to a Shumpert non shooting wing...) with Giannis you cant afford another non shooter... Brunson has had a lot of struggles also because of Hart being guarded by centers and the big wings pressuring then Brunson all up and down the court... Di Vincenzo made the difference last year... that problem we saw also in the playoffs where Hart was the starter because of the injuries we had

Cap felt he need to make a statement and he sure did. Must admit that I do not enjoy watching PG’s put up those many shots at the expense of others but a win is a win and JB made his baskets at a good clip.

KAT was solid and I liked how he tried involving our wings at the second half to try to get them going.

You cant beat a zone with Thibs shooting the least amount of threes and with his dead legs starters who cant neither hit a shot nor cut or penetrate to the basket... Also you need to run more through KAT to beat a zone... he is an excellent passer on those cross pass/cuts that needs to be ran to break a zone D

his shooting is worse than JR's... you cant count on that during the playoffs... you arent allowed to fail there...

I really hope that this is just a adjusting period and not the norm, but I had bad impression in the Olympics with our Trio of Villanova in the SL for the US Team... Or at least pray for Thibs to utilise him where he is impressive and consistent... in the mid range (and he is much better of curls and cuts shooting those mid ranges than post ups and spins)... or at least put him in PnR with Towns where both are deadly from mid range

He honestly didn't play reckless like so many do when their shot is struggling. Played good defense and facilitated. I think his shot will return with a little rest
