They make mistakes but their hustle, athleticism and young legs really does help make it for a lot of it in defensive recovery and off ball movement. It's a real joy to watch

The fact we can even play the two rookies together and not get blown out during their minutes is pretty incredible.

Small sample size and context dependency and all that...those two are about a minus-13 net rating in their minutes together so far.

He needs to be the starter tonight or just continue to get more minutes than Plumlee.

Oso vs. Wemby tonight.

If he could gain another 20-30 lbs that would let him bang with the bigger centers.

I see coach Bud is rolling him out there sometimes as the PF possibly due to his lack of bulk but I think his ideal position is the 5 due to his lack of shooting.

His lack of wingspan may also be a reason. Ryan dunn's standing reach is only slight less than Oso's

He doesn't have the hops and all those great college #s Clarke did, but made me think of him given he is solid defensively, and plays as more of a big but has a short wingspan and a horrible shot. (Brandon Clarke)

In the first two SL games he is averaging:

14.5 points
11.5 boards
2.5 assists
3.0 steals
1.0 blocks

Shooting 12/17 from the field and 5/7 FTs.

He has been great and he is showing that he deserves a roster spot on the team. Rotation player? It's a realistic possibility for next season.

You can feel that he is comfortable with the ball in his hands and teammates try to find him as a ball handler and facilitator on offense.

Yep, improved his strength, quickness and dribble. Needs to continue to try to morph more into a Pf! Need to fix his stroke.

I love the rebounding numbers. He wasn't a dominant rebounder in college so seeing him pick up his rebounding in these few games is encouraging. Right now, our 4 spot is kind of weak with only Fleming, Oso (I see him as a 4 sized guy), Nigel and I suppose you could put Dunn there in stretches but not ideal. If he can rebound at a good rate and make plays on the court, I could see him play into those 4 minutes. I really wished he had even a budding 3PT shot but without it, it could still work but it just makes it more difficult

Temper the expectations on this dude. He’ll never be more than a 9th or tenth man with that shot of his. He fell into a nice opportunity here, being we had 4-5 9th or 10th men on the roster. Yay for hustle but that alone won’t cut it.
What ? Me Worry ?
