I think Edge/pass rusher is the #1 target. I'd imagine it would need to be in FA/trade.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Important to point out the context. He seemed to be talking about players who made a positive impact on the team and can make an impact going forward.

Too bad they didn't have a chance to draft any really good CBs in last draft

I can't help but think there was too much misplaced optimism on getting a full season out of Alexander, and expecting Stokes to overcome chronic injury and return to the potential shown in his rookie season.

Ironically the one game we really needed Morgan in and he was injured.

But we also could have used a Ladd McConkey or Cooper DeJean or Nate Wiggins or Jared Verse (trade-up).

I imagine a lot of teams wish they had drafted Cooper. It works both way. :)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Dejean would have been a fun add, but he's also played the majority of his snaps from the slot. The closer you can get him to the box, the more effective he can become. Not to say he can't play out wide on the boundary, but no point in sulking over a player who may or may not have even wound up as a top outside corner for us.

That being said, they can't afford to ignore the position this time around and I'm sure Gute will probably throw plenty of resources at that spot like he did the safeties.

We need a better receiver than we currently have, who do you suggest?

Folks don't understand how good Tee Higgins is because he's had some nagging injuries and Jamar Chase is insane.

My argument is he's a small tick behind Chase, and that's as good as you can get in free agency

Tee was featured in one game for the Bengals this year and he had 11 catches 131 yards and 3 TD's.

If you don't think Tee Higgins is a super star, please watch the highlights from said game:

The sooner Jaire is gone the better.
High priced, oft injured and entitled: absolutely the worst characteristics of a teammate we want around the youngest team in the league,

Corners as good as Jaire are like top tier WRs - they all have a bit of a prima donna side to them. I think it's a part of the nature of the positions, really.

I don't have an issue with Jaire's personality, FWIW. But if he can't stay healthy, he's worthless to us.

Oh, and Higgins is good. I worry about his injury history, but you won't find receivers as good as him in FA very often.

Am I crazy or being a homer in thinking that's a large overpay for GB? I feel like their value is closer. Crosby had a down year and got injured. His level of play was definitely higher in the past, but I don't think the difference between the two's play was 1st round difference.

I tried to tell everyone about Verse but all I heard was "a 24 year old with an injury history? I'll pass."

Didn't trust Cooper DeJean but I was wrong there. Glad we got Edge in the second but Verse and Edge would've made it easier for the secondary.

I was super high on Verse the year before but I cooled on him last year. Same with DeJean. Missed on both, I'll admit it.

It is an overpay when considering talent when healthy, but given the output you’ve received and probably will receive in the future from Jaire, I’d do it. Plus he seems to want out (could be reading too much in his latest comments)

It’s a close 1a and 1b but I’d prefer to have a solid pash rush than a solid coverage unit.
