YOUR Washington Bullets are 6-31!!

Another night, another blowout.

Tonight, the T-Wolves are in town. Minnesota downgraded with the Karl-Anthony Towns trade on the eve of training camp. They are behind last year's win pace by a big margin sitting at 20-18.

Anthony Edwards has not taken that next step. One thing he has done is amass $285,000 in fines over remarks and gestures towards the officials.

Minnesota is coming off a close loss to Memphis this weekend.

I've never understood why the Wiz don't convert him, play him, etc. and haven't since I first saw him play. He's a solid rotational player, probably never more, but he does everything but shoot 3's well if nothing spectacularly.

Coulibaly came back with a nice game. Poole and Kuzma shot a lot, for mediocre results. Poole rebounded well, turned it over a lot; Kuzma got some assists without turnovers but didn't do much rebounding. Like the last game, I tuned it out mainly, checked back occasionally, as I was doing other things so I didn't really get to evaluate defensive energy and switching. Love to hear about how well that went from someone who paid more attention.

In roughly the same amount of minutes, Kuzma (5), Coulibaly (1), and Sarr (3) were outrebounded by Randle (10), McDaniels (8), and Gobert (11).

That's a 29-9 rebound deficit.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

This season just needs to end. This is one of the worst wizards/bullets teams I’ve ever seen.

for a while

we briefly had a 4Q lead. But the tank is strong.

The kids did reasonably okay though. Sarr was fairly solid. Hit 3 3s. Few boards though.
Kyshawn is back to being playable and hit a few shots.
Bilal was solid. Hit some shots. Not great but he had to guard Edwards.
Bub continues to be in a shooting slump. Otherwise did okay. DIdn't force
bad shots like Kuz.

Kuz had 1 decent quarter and 3 bad ones. As is his custom, he would rather force bad
shots, than work for good ones. Poole had a couple moments of good play
and a bunch of not so good plays. Kispert- nada. JV - his usual solid minutes.
Butler, some solid minutes....maybe he should start ahead of Poole. Brogdon, another DNP.

Like his old Nix teammate Brunson, no Wiz seemed to realize they should force Randle to go right.
Ant man was slow getting started but finished strong. At the end, not close.

At 38 games played, the Wizards are 3 games away from one half of this season completed.

I doubt it, they wont be in the 2026 lottery next year unless they trade up.

They will win more games next year and improvements I see with the players.

What you expect? They play 3 rookies heavy minutes and no team in the league would win a lot of games having that formula yet alone making the playoffs.

^Unless the Wizards get Flagg and he balls out and Sarr, Bilal, and Carrington all take big steps forward, I would be shocked if they're not in the lottery in 2026.

You’re playing yourself. The 2026 pick will not convey. The Wiz will be terrible and they will play these young guys plus whoever the 2025 pick is.

I think 2026 is when they bring in veterans who can shoot like Detroit did.

Not really.

The 2026 Wizards pick won't be the same range as this years. They wont be in the 2026 lottery.

Wizards would be incentivized to keep tanking as they would keep their pick in 2026 if they remain in the bottom 8.

Doesn't mean they have to keep the 2026 Pick via PHX.

They can trade it.
