Tried a pair of Jordan 1 mids at a half size bigger than my normal size but couldn't get it on my foot. Guess I just stick with the converse weapons. Got 2 pairs of Jordans anyway in the stay loyal 3 and comfort 11 lows.

These were my exact dream shoe when I was a kid. I bought a pair when I was in 5th/6th grade when I found them on a sale I could afford, but they were my big and I couldn't wear them to play until 7th or 8th.

I see versions at the Nike outlet these days and always flirt with getting another pair.

First sneakers I grabbed rim in, one of my all time favs.

Edit: wait, I thought these were the Penny’s, but these are also still one of my favs, just not this color pattern.

I can assure you that anything New Balance makes, which may or may not be up your alley, will definitely come in wider widths. That's been their thing since the beginning.

Probably but I searched for wide footed basketball shoes on different shoe sites and that was the only one that popped up.

I'd check their site directly rather than relying on an internet search. Here's what I just found on their site in 2E width:

Pretty cool but the Kawhi and Murray ones worry me. :P

Surprised new balance hasn't brought back the Worthy ones as those would sell really well today.

Reebok has a few 4E wide basketball shoes on their site. The new weapons are pretty wide and comfortable themselves and have great traction. I have to have wide shoes for my feet and it feels that it's getting harder and harder to fine them in stores as it seems that they are trying to phase them out.

I loved my Nike Zoom Kobe 1 growing up. First basketball shoe I had and I liked the aesthetic of it.

Image

Since we're also going for nostalgia I remember the hype around the Starbury. I got 3 of them while I was in New York because they we're only $15  The performance wasn't great but I still enjoy the nostalgia of them.

Agreed. Starbury’s looked like space shoes but as a kid the hype and experience of getting a few pairs because of how cheap they were stuck with me

Seen a pair of the puma basketball highs wides at shoe carnival as they had some on sale. Pretty comfortable. Need some longer shoe strings though it seems.
