I say more like exposed than broke. Our weakness are showing against better teams. But Im not feeling all gloom and doom. Not at all. Coaching, size, and a deeper bench are all fixable.

Fixable, but when?

Depth pretty soon, with Mitch returning, and SIms likely on the move too for better bench help. And I'm sure we'' tweak the roster more in the offseason and later etc . Hopefully the depth changes will address sour poor size to some degree. Mitch automatically makes us way bigger, after that I want Whitmore who is like 6'7"...Coaching...Thibs better adapt or eventually he's a goner. Not this season but perhaps next depending on how well (or poorly)we perform.

This notion that Mitch is going to put the team into contention or correct the issues Thibs is causing by his poor minutes management or bad strategies is misguided IMO.

Once you burn people out they don't just snap back to attention because you add some support for them later. The whole purpose of developing a bench is prevent burnout in the first place.

Why would you want Zion?

OG and Zion are very close in salary. Zion only makes 67k more

KAT and Zion in the front court would be pretty cool

I mean yeah but he can't stay in shape and is always injured. I'd rather reduce OG's minutes load so that he can get back to being the defensive terror he was last season.

Zion Williamson is the poor man's Zion Williamson

A solid NO

I forgot who said it. Let Thibs down easy mutual agreement, give him a job in the organization and get a real coach.

We’re checking in on Jonas to see the asking price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thibs sees Jonas and sees iHarts passing, not realizing he's getting white euro Drummond in all other aspects

Jonas is kind of the anti-solution if it means him for Mitch. That would be wildly inappropriate to downgrade from Mitch's defense while having to give Val touches when we too often already fail to integrate KAT into the offense. That would be so dumb.

Burks should have never left to begin with

He stepped up when his number was called during the Pacers series

Averaged 18 ppg on 51/43/84 shooting splits from Game 2 through Game 6

He has proved his worth in the playoffs for the Knicks in both '24 and even '21

Because we are an Eastern Conference rival, I don't see Miami giving him up to us. Maybe for Sims, but then watch Sims excel in Miami for no good reason

Who gave you that notion? Not me.I do feel that best case scenario - full health and integration with team- he could put us a lot closer to contention .

As far as thibs , we know his weaknesses, but here 's the thing . If we can give him players he trusts he will play them. We know he does trusst Mitch....we need more than just that.... and I think we'll get more eventually..

I have zero faith in Thibs ability to make a championship run with Michael Jordan on the team

I think we found our answer to egos and agendas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why was OG guarding Harris who was just staying in the corner, in the first place. Thibs should have had OG guarding Cade or Hardaway so he could have disrupted the play. I can't imagine OG not wanting that, just saying nah I'm good I'll stay on Tobias here who's not involved. Makes no sense. They had the matchups wrong, which is coaching
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

So the board is protesting the tyrannical reign of Thibs by refusing to make another game thread until he's gone?

LOL, not so damning. Thib is coach with some flaws. River is a bad coach that was still able to win a ring.
