PG: Knicks Cough It Up For The Pistons

I say more like exposed than broke. Our weakness are showing against better teams. But Im not feeling all gloom and doom. Not at all. Coaching, size, and a deeper bench are all fixable.

Fixable, but when?

Depth pretty soon, with Mitch returning, and SIms likely on the move too for better bench help. And I'm sure we'' tweak the roster more in the offseason and later etc . Hopefully the depth changes will address sour poor size to some degree. Mitch automatically makes us way bigger, after that I want Whitmore who is like 6'7"...Coaching...Thibs better adapt or eventually he's a goner. Not this season but perhaps next depending on how well (or poorly)we perform.

This notion that Mitch is going to put the team into contention or correct the issues Thibs is causing by his poor minutes management or bad strategies is misguided IMO.

Once you burn people out they don't just snap back to attention because you add some support for them later. The whole purpose of developing a bench is prevent burnout in the first place.

Jonas is kind of the anti-solution if it means him for Mitch. That would be wildly inappropriate to downgrade from Mitch's defense while having to give Val touches when we too often already fail to integrate KAT into the offense. That would be so dumb.

Why was OG guarding Harris who was just staying in the corner, in the first place. Thibs should have had OG guarding Cade or Hardaway so he could have disrupted the play. LOL, not so damning. Thib is coach with some flaws. River is a bad coach that was still able to win a ring.
