MIL/MIA/WAS
Bucks trade Middleton, Connaughton, Portis, Beauchamp, 2031 1st (top 8 prot, otherwise 2031 2nd)
Bucks receive Butler, Burks
Heat trade Butler, Burks
Heat receive Middleton, Portis, Kispert
Washington trades Kispert
Washington receives Connaughton, Beachamp (using Gafford TPE), 2031 MIL pick
Bucks got for it all with their vet core building around Lillard/Butler/Giannis/Lopez for another shot or two at a title.
Heat get out of the Jimmy circus, and swap him out for three productive vets with size at forward.
Washington gets a pick for Kispert and eating a bit of salary in Pat C.

Not interested.
We're getting no value, here.
You're foisting Kispert on us who's contract goes away past when we'd need it to end, offering is no draft picks, and not a single player who can really help us.
This is a very low-ball offer.

I mean just leave Washington out. Now you have your quality replacement player in Middleton whose contract fits your needs. A player you have specifically mentioned liking in Portis whose contract fits your needs and Pat's deal expires when you need it to. Oh and a 1st round pick post Giannis prime.
Not sure how to reconcile your previous posts with this current one claiming this to be a very low ball offer. If this is low-ball, no Butler offer is ever going to be good enough for you. And I'd be stunned if he returned more than this.

From an on-court value, both are a steal for Miami.
Not sure why Washington would want to move Kispert. He is very good at what he does but Heat already have that sort of player.
Bucks would need to replace Portis somehow. That... would not be easy.

Or they could just give Giannis the backup minutes at the 5. I mean, BroLo isn't getting any younger. Sooner or later they'll have to replace him. Giannis may be starting at the 5 in the not-to-distant future. If so, they wouldn't need a stretch 5 anymore.

If an actual first is included, and Pat is routed elsewhere, the deal is absolutely fine.
Your variation of the trade, however, pushes us over the second apron, adding $2 million in salary when we've spent the year with 14 players on the roster to avoid just that.
But yeah, I'm the one who's wrong...
Edit: the OP doesn't have a first coming to Miami, and sees us taking Kispert with his extension about to kick in. You do recognize the value difference, right? Moving Pat to a third team, sending Middleton and Portis, along with a first to Miami, is a perfectly fine deal, but that's not close to what was offered. It was, indeed, a low-ball offer.

Re: MIL/MIA/WAS
No I don't. Taking Washington out is super easy. Miami can move PC on to someone else for cheaper than an unprotected first. So they get a good player, another good player, and future asset.
Thats a good offer for a distressed Butler. You keep insisting in every thread you aren't being unreasonable yet you keep finding minor little issues to harp on that are easily fixed.

Yes, minor little issues that I would like OP to fix. I even suggest fixes!
And all I'm asking for here is that Milwaukee move Pat to a team with space, send us a first, Midds, and Portis.
And no, us taking Pat and moving him later isn't an option. They have to do it, because if we get stuck, we end up over the second apron. That's not acceptable. You're telling me that not wanting to end up over the second apron is unreasonable?
Come on, Chuck! That shouldn't be something I have to fight for on this!

Re: MIL/MIA/WAS
I;m done. I pointed out how easy it was to take Washington out and you still were harping on Kispert. That was a trivial fix. I could find the team to take Pat C but we don't make threads better by bringing in more fans to be like you and complain how this specific asset is something we would never take for taking on Pat's deal.
He has less than $10M and only one year left after this year. Sorry that's just not an insurmountable problem that would cause one to say this is a horrible low-ball offer.
But you do you mate. Coming into every thread to say how much they suck has to be super fun for you....

Re: MIL/MIA/WAS
And just move Love instead of Pat C and go back to 14 players and its even cheaper. Pat C simply cannot make a deal tailor made to what you have asked for become suddenly a lowball offer.

And now you're putting words in my mouth. I didn't say it was a horrible low-ball offer with Pat and a pick coming to Miami. I said with Kispert coming to Miami and the pick going to Washington is was a low-ball offer.
You're better than this, Chuck!
I said Pat needs to be moved for space. Why? Because we'll be over the second apron. And we shouldn't be paying the price to move him. They should. It's like you said about Beal - that shouldn't be our problem. Why would we take a deal that puts us over the second apron?
I hate that suggesting tweaks seems to be so offensive to people.

I'm not though. Look at the deal. Look how easy it is to take Washington out. Now you have a $2M issue but are taking back an extra body. So now dump a min guy and get back to 14 and that money is gone.
I mean just on sight that's done. So how can you call the OP a lowball offer when you claim to be offering fixes? This fix is so trivial and so obvious.

But that would be a tweak to the trade and tweaks are wrong!
My lord, why is that tweak fine, but me asking for Pat to be sent elsewhere horribly offensive to you? Why don't you tell me how much I'm allowed to tweak without upsetting you?
Or maybe I should just say yes to every trade whether I like the trade or not?
I really need some clarification, here. It's obvious that I'm violating the TOS, but I'm not sure where, so please help me out.

Chill. Just look at the deal. That caters to what you have been asking for by simply cutting Washington out and dumping a min guy. And you calling it cowbell.
It was never cowbell. OP just thought you'd like Kispert and you don't.
You can suggest any changes you want. Nobody is remotely accusing you of violating anything nor am I posting as a mod.
But people have listened to you as our most regular Heat poster and a guy with a ton of respect here. And are posting ideas based literally on your feedback.
And you keep finding minor issues and calling them huge. And now none of know what to think. Even when it's just what your want now you want something else...

I don't need you to blow smoke. I'm frustrated because I'm told that suggesting tweaks to trades involving my team is, somehow, not okay.
And I don't think your trade is legal.
They can't aggregate salary without being below the tax. In order to acquire Jimmy, they have to shred $6.5 million. We're not the team they're going to shed that salary with as we're over the first apron

I don't blow smoke. You are both of those things.
But I'm also being quite critical.
Both are true. You are a valuable poster but keep moving goalposts in Butler threads.
Which would be fine except the former means your takes are shaping threads offers to what you want.

Nevermind the lack of legality in this trade?
They absolutely have to dump Pat C on someone other than Miami. It's not legal any other way.
Edit: I appreciate the compliment

Re: MIL/MIA/WAS
ok this was a miss... 1) i thought Kispert was a RFA and didn't realize he was given 4/50M+ in the offseason. 2) expected Middleton/Portis/Kispert to be of interest to Miami
that said, no realistic Butler to MIL trade is going to be legal without a third team as MIL will need to cut $7M to get below the apron (and more due to roster spot issues). Hence Washington eating some salary with a TPE and getting compensated for it.
