In the short term, I would move Hart to the bench and Deuce into the starting lineup if he’s healthy. Put Deuce on ball and let Mikal play off ball instead. Hart still gets his 30+ minutes off the bench and lets OG and Mikal rest more.

Its the most obvious choice that's clear as day but it wont happen. Our net rating with Deuce and the starters is superior to that of the starters. Not sure what the hell is the point of all these advanced stats if we dont even use them to our advantage.

How ironic, when it’s the best team we’ve had in decades.
Team needs upgrades off the bench and at the helm/ coaching.
Don’t care about the games we will win, (inevitably this one)
I care about the games we keep losing (against the top 4 teams) and versatile, athletic, wing heavy teams (Seeds 5-8 in the east)
We suck
If Embiid plays.... oh he's out!

I’ve been calling for this since before start the season. Hart is just a better weapon off the bench. His energy, passing, rebounding, transition game, etc is a nice spark to have. Plus, Deuce was always the better POA option imo… dunno why Mikal is being stuck with the job.

what a terrible analogy lol
it's more like we've been dating 2s our entire life and getting rejected by anything decent.
then we have a breakthrough and expect to marry a model and it turns out she's a dude.

Agreed. We lose in rebounding but we gain in defense and offensive flow. Deuce hounds the ball handlers while OG and Mikal play their more natural help defense roles. 3 plus defenders around KAT/Brunson is better than two. Also, last season Deuce and Brunson played well together in the last quarter or so of the season. I think the issue has been that Deuce hasn't been healthy this season so it's hard for Thibs to even consider such a change. Shame.

Since Isola is trying to use this one anecdotal example to make the case that minutes don’t have any link with potential injury, I think the solution for the Sixers is to just keep playing Embiid 48 minutes a game when he comes back. He’s gonna get hurt anyway so managing his minutes doesn’t really matter and there really isn’t any risk to it.
Honestly, not sure why the rest of the league hasn’t figured it out. Kawhi Leonard? Spam him heavy minutes. Zion Williamson? Hell nah. He eats off a lot off the court and he’s gonna eat minutes on the court. Derrick Rose? **** I’d argue that Thibs didn’t play him enough in garbage time.
