Regardless of who is or isn’t healthy you can still execute the offense especially since we have a lot of duplicate players. We can’t shoot. Why? I don’t know because even the guys who only play a few minutes a game can’t hit them so the too tired from defense doesn’t work there. Of course we can win games and have a good chance to win tonight but the playoffs is the goal here and in a 7-game series this isn’t going to cut it.

We are playing guys that wouldnt normally see time if we are fully healthy.

We are obviously much better healthy. I mean we took the current best team in the league to 7 games last year. But, shooting is definitely going to hold us back. And I'm not sure where it gets better. Suggs, Paolo, Franz, Goga are definitely starters. Don't know how we get a star SG like Booker without giving up a ton.

The best 3pt shooter out of that group is KCP at 31.9% right now....

They’re missing pretty open shots, but - they also aren’t playing within a well flowing offense right now. Add Franz and Suggs to those guys and the influence their gravity and passing has and every player should see a healthy bump in their perimeter shooting. Not to mention, those guys are better shooters and seeing shots go down is contagious.

You watched last season while this season Franz is top 10 improved in EPM, Goga is massively improved as a player, Paolo is way more efficient.. but sure.. last season's stats are going to define the next 5 years. Got it.

I mean, I agree moving a few guys helps. Don't think people are necessarily arguing that? It's that our top 3 guys are always going to define our offensive ceiling. Nobody cares what Hauser and Holiday and Porzingis do night in and night out in terms of how the Celtics offense becomes elite.

The level of complaining and overreaction is just fan frustration, I get it, but you are essentially looking at massive moves if you want to be an elite offensive team - you simply don't want to be a defensive team.

The rest is literally waiting for Franz/Paolo/Suggs to get healthy and mature as offensive options.

Cmon SOUL, im sure you like me experienced this kind of bitch!n during the d12 era... its like a " ive seen thos before " feeling

It's also not even about missing shots. Missing shots happen, but right now the offense doesn't look competent. I do think we lack offense creativity from a coaching perspective.

The contract does not make sense in the slightest but bringing an offensive talent like Lavine would not kill our defense IMO. Definitely not anymore than Cole or Houstan gives us on that end.

We've only won these last two years because of defense.

we're a high continuity team and shot 31% from deep last year. How much data do you need?

One thing to remember about shooting %s is how volatile they can be, and the reality that a team shooting 40% from 3 on 40 attempts a game is going to miss 24 shots in that process. That’s 24 potentially rhythm killing moments which could set up a 6 point swing at any given moment.

More than 5 games with all 3 of Paolo, Franz and Suggs playing at full strength would be a start.

No, you don't get it, they clearly suck because last year it wasn't great. Don't mind their age or natural progression. It's a hoax.

The Magic were in the bonus for over 3 minutes and didn’t really take advantage of it.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.-John 3:16

Go Magic, Go Dwight, Go Vuc, Go Paolo, Go Keegan :)

we had a lot of those last year though... notice, I'm not suggesting that we change the core either. The ancillary pieces need retooling.

It depends... Suggs Franz and Paolo couly inccrease their 3pt accuracy by say 3-5% which i thought they did and it wont hold us back anymore.

I mean, did everyone forget how horrendous from the 3pt area Franz was last season and the olynpics? Thank God he he looks better before he got hurt. I mean he had a weird looking hitch there before
