Okay next four of the week... no back to back.

at OKC -- loss

vs Hawks - win

at Minny - win

at Denver - win

2-2 is decent enough, 21-16... 3-1 would be great. 22-15..

Look at this sh*t. Kennard could've had twice the career if he pulled this out of the bag once in a while.

Luv Keon Ellis.. he and Trey Lyles are two underrated, quality defenders on a strange team in Sac. Keon Ellis is one of the most overlooked role wings on both ends in the league. Utility dude but very good defender.

PG is having a pretty rough season thus far, from what have gathered.. for his standards. I think LAC got his final top 10-15 player, consistent all-star seasons.

He needs to pick his spots some more and iso some less. But when Embiid's out, he's going to get higher usage which I think is still wait-and-see.. he's still got game, but I don't think its gonna be like even the last two seasons for LAC on a routine basis.

-PG is just getting old. Happy I don't have to defend him anymore.

How about our G League team getting raided today. Harkless, RayJ, and Tosan all getting 2 way contracts. Low key I did wonder if Tosan was better than Kobe Brown and we all know Harkless would be a better look backing up Harden than KPJ. But I guess this means we're finding talent.

But we still might have something with Cam Christie and Flowers.

Got to just throw it out there. What about Jimmy Butler. The initial kawhi target. It's very much making the same mistake 5 years ago. I was with Doc's logic though. So much pride and love for a 7th seed that was of course gritty and tough. Kawhi and pg blew that up. They have a gritty 7th or 8th seed this year. Once again would trading for Jimmy just be a clippers or big market team mistake going for the big name. But lol. I love the idea of jimmy kawhi djj on the wing. Kris Dunn as well. It's a cold world but Norm, Terrance Mann PJ and Bones for Jimmy works in the trade machine. With the way norm has played this season this seems like a reasonable deal.

Just what we need, another declining injury-prone 35-year-old diva who limps through the regular season at half speed and will cost us what's left of our future. And on top of that, he's expecting to get overpaid this summer.

I know you're only spitballing, but this team needs to start learning from its mistakes, not repeating them. Sadly, I'm already seeing our fans on social media screaming to trade Norm and anyone under 30 for him. :banghead:

Nah, we're good. We just need a healthy Kawhi playoff run really. On another note, I had to get off Twitter just now cause 3-4 people posted the exact same tweet of SGA's highlight reel during his rookie season with us and wondering WTF we're we thinking :noway: :banghead:

With OKC on top of the West and the Clipps and Houston right behind, that pick swap won't mean that much come draft time for anybody. Houston can't even get playing time for the #3 pick Reed Sheppard and Cam Whitmore. Another 1st rounder that needs playing time for development is the last thing they need right now. It looks like we'll be drafting in the 20's in the next draft. A newly drafted wing or two guard would have to fight through Harden, Norm, Mann, KPJ, Dunn, Coffey(?), Miller(?).. maybe even Christie and Flowers if they improve over the summer for, to get minutes.

OKC is going to add two first rounders and two second rounders in the next draft and they have a lottery pick point guard who's sitting out this season. Outside of a pick with star potential, they have no room or roster spots for these newly drafted players. And they have like 20 more picks coming up over the next five years. I think the league is literally maxed out on roster spots now and is in need of expansion imo. I think that Harkless kid that was pulled from our G League team and got a two-way from Utah makes our main roster 3-4 years ago. Moussa and BBJ would've been godsends for Lob City but in this era we can release them and in turn pick up KPJ, Kai Jones, Cam Christie, Trentyn Flowers, and Jordan Miller to an extent. That was impossible to pull off during the Lob City days where we couldn't find a wing player to save our lives. Interesting times.

Yikes! March is looking ugly. One of the backup bigs will need to get a look. I'm thinking Kai Jones. Can't small ball your way out of that schedule. A lot of load management for Kawhi also.

We need a b/u center so bad. We're overly dependent on Zubac, who is playing far too many minutes and his backups shouldn't even be in the league. And I always liked Nurkic, the Suns are toast and he has this year PLUS next at $18M to run. The Suns want OUT.

According to Forbes’ Evan Sidery, the Suns are expected to have a difficult time finding a trade suitor for Nurkić. He reported that teams want the Suns to attach a ton of draft capital to a potential Nurkić package for them to take on his monster contract.

Of course, Nurkić is making over $18 million this season, but that number increases to over $19 million for the 2025-26 season, which is his last season under contract. With his poor production which led to the Suns benching him, most teams do not want to take on Nurkić’s salary, but the Suns have limited draft assets to attach in a deal, especially if they are still trying to land Jimmy Butler from the Heat.

But this [Tucker, Bones, Bamba] isn't good enough. Our unwanted garbage for theirs.

Ballmer and his FO don't want to trade ANY more draft picks and I don't blame them. But I would sweeten the pie with PHX's choice of 2 [but not all 3]

Mann
Coffey
KPJ

who I think are interchangeable. Plus

Miller
Kai
Kobe

if they want them. Still, I don't think PHX bites. I wouldn't. But it's a reasonable offer, and worth making.

All I want is to break even on the non-Zubac minutes

I really like Brogdon and Valuncinas but they both struggle staying healthy. They just seem like realistic gets.
Clarkson and Kessler would be pretty good too. Obviously John Collins would be a prize but I think other teams have better offers.
Bojan seems like he needs a change of scenery and has never backed down from big moments. Him and Larry Nance Jr kinda fit.
Boucher and Davion Mitchell would be somewhat interesting.
