That win should half count as a loss, watching this ogre coach is just annoying. The minutes are just untenable.

Had to stop watching the game by the 3rd quarter due to work. Glad we got the W but I was shocked to see it had to go through OT. How did the Sixers catch up?

I assume Shamet is out of the rotation now so Thibs' handling of the minutes in the first half was about as good as it was going to get with 4 bench players being mixed in with the 4 available starters. Thibs is going to Thibs so he removed Payne from the rotation in the 2nd half but it is odd seeing Deuce only get 22 minutes with the tallest player in the Sixers most of the game was their 6'8 "center" and they only have 2 real scoring threats on the court in Maxey and George.

If Thibs wasn't going to use Payne or McBride to rest Brunson he could have used McBride to rest the wings with him guarding Maxey and Mikal and OG splitting time on George. The Knicks have far too many small guards but this was one of those games where it really shouldn't have mattered.

He barely played an 8 man rotation. We are 12mpg below the nearest bench minutes. We are almost 50 below the most bench minutes. It's just never gonna change. No other team does this.

It was absolutely atrocious coaching. He should have kept McBride in the 4th when OG came in. Mcbrides help defense helped us build that 6 or 7 point cushion we had. As soon he left the game the Sixers tied it. Not playing Payne at all after the strong 2nd qtr he had is just baffling. He did it against the Pistons too and ICEd him out. Not sure what he has against him but Payne brings the energy and momentum and most importantly gives Brunson some rest.

Well, they played good defense for three quarters and overtime instead of just two quarters. That's an improvement over recent games. Brunson seems to have found his floater and figured out how to get whistles from the refs too. If Deuce is back to himself, things are looking up as soon as KAT's thumb is good to go.

My best guess at this point is Thibs is losing his mind at his old age. He was always bad, but this level has to be cuz of something else.

People who make fun of Precious this year are the same ones who were with everyone else singing his praises last year when he was ballin out. Guess they forgot he was injured and been shaking off the rust… he’s getting back to normal like he showed tonight with actual minutes.

Did the ESPN broadcast tonight say Kat's thumb isn't just sprained but has a bone chip in it? That's bad right

I wonder if the sky is falling in Boston like it is in NY with them going 7-7 in their last 14. The Thibs stuff is getting really old. Everything is going to be fine

I hope that's okay but it reminds me of OGs elbow last year

Mikal with two solid back to back games. We can only hope for consistency now.
