Who would your team prefer and what crappy 2nd round offerings can your team spare?

Neither, frankly.

Cody is non guaranteed next year and is a safe, wing depth defender.

I can see a playoff team grabbing him.

Are you willing to take back future money if the contracts aren't too big? There's 5-6 teams looking to duck the tax.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Sure, why not?

I'm guessing with the Hornets striking a deal so early that they want to carve out time to explore all options. Peterson is very outgoing. He talks and talks just for the joy of communication. So I think he's staying very active. He's been a very active GM for smaller types of moves. Our big move is queued for after the draft maybe next deadline.

No big additions expected.

i've been pounding this drum since the offseason, and while Martin's looked a bit better this season than I would've expected, I'd still do it. Just makes sense both ways. we get a pick, Clips duck the tax and get someone who can play sparingly, and PJ Tucker can get bought out to be a 15th man on some contenders bench.
