Add Duncan 7 points and his 20 mil to that.

so we got 23 points for a combined 96 mil from all three.

If you add Jimmy to the list that 23 point for 142 million in salary.

This just make Herro's all-star case more solid. It's just him and the young guys keeping this afloat.

What actually was said? Either way, I think that this criticism is actually too much. If people would simply get over the idea of Bam being this big 3 type of player, you could appreciate his game for what it is. Stop listening to Stans, whose literally job it is is lie and over hype his production. You will inevitably be frustrated when your eyes show you that that is all BS.

Bam is *maybe* a 3rd option on a very talented team. Where you’ve got 2 superstars or a superstar and all star ahead of him. He’s not the guy you dump the ball to. If he’s 3rd on a team with less, it gets dicier, since at times he would be looked to to take over, and that’s just not him. Neither in mentality, or skill set.

Bam could definitely be a #3, or even a #2B on a championship team. We just need to accept that he's not going to be a #1 or #2, which is fine. His ideal role would be like a more athletic/souped up Draymond Green, minus the crazy.

He would look good in OKC ngl. Five 1st rounders and we good.

To me, Bam just looks exhausted. I think the lack of a material break over the summer, plus being asked to play bigger than he is constantly, has finally caught up with him. Confidence is clearly well and truly down.

I’d like to see Spo do what he used to do when Bosh had a quiet patch. He’d run the first play of the game for him in his comfort spot on the elbow to give him a look and get him going. I’d really like us to make a concerted effort to try unlock that J and get him some easy looks. Right now he’s even missing those as his touch has deserted him, but he’s a core piece of this puzzle and we need him to figure it out.
We also need to help him figure it out.

I think the secksors with Aja is too physically demanding. Our boy now having to run full-speed marathons when he was used to one jog around the track with the BBWs.

Bet Aja is the dominant one in that matchup, lol

The teams losses are coming from Terry you lose all momentum with him he gives nothing on D and is a complete negative on offense and as the game wears on Tyler gets worn down since there's no second option on the team. Start Pelle or even Burks , Terry is gone he's terrible they need to send him away like Jimmy.

The core line up has to be Ware, Bam, Jovic , Herro as certainties with JJJ/Duncan or HH depending on what the team needs at the time. They don't have to start but they have to be playing at least 30 mins together. Spo misuse of players while rewarding trash vets has got to a disgusting level.

The nature of our playoff runs and good play the past several years has been players hungry for a new contract. Got a lot of full bellies on this team

Bam still not being aggressive and not stepping up to help our franchise cornerstone Herro.

Three point specialist Duncan can’t hit a three.

Rozier still playing inexplainable basketball.

And then LeBron woke up and took the game over.

Essentially.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Damn. And turnovers, @contract.

At one point Crotty said Lakers had like twenty more shots than Heat.

What a frustrating 2nd half to watch after a very fun first half that ended with a 40 second tease of Bam and Ware on the floor together (nothing really happened in those ~40 seconds, but the bait hooked me).

First and foremost, turnovers sunk Miami. 20 turnovers for Miami; 6 for LA; resulted in LA having 17 more FGA than Miami.

Terry is a total sunk cost at this point. He's put too much bad bball on tape to expect to prop up his trade value before the trade deadline. He kills Miami on both sides and sucks the life out of the offense more often than not. Bench him and prioritize making him an offseason expiring trade.

Duncan is playing some of his worst basketball of his career lately. I still think he can get out of this funk, but it's a killer when he can't be relied upon to even hit 3s at a league average rate. If he keeps up his rate of shooting, he will fall below league average from 3. Pretty rough for a guy that is in the league to shoot 3s.

Bam looks like he doesn't know where his shots are supposed to come from on offense and just looks fatigued. I think he's playing hurt because while his defense was fine, it was not the level of defense we're accustomed to seeing from him. He needs a break to recharge/recover (and some more sets run for him on offense, and for shooters around him other than Herro to make looks). People are panicking on Bam. I'm confident this isn't the new norm, but it is a rough season for him offensively.

Herro was outstanding but those turnovers were still killer. Can't put too much blame on him as he's basically the whole offense.

Young guys are gonna have ups and downs and incosistencies. Fighting through these struggles while being relied upon more is how they grow. This is an investment.
