Karl-Anthony Towns Has Bone Chip In Thumb In Addition To Sprain

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:49 am

Karl-Anthony Towns has a bone chip in his thumb as opposed to just a sprain. Towns is planning to play through the chip and is considered day-to-day.

Towns missed Wednesday's game due to the sprain and surgery is not necessary or anticipated either during or after the season.

The New York Knicks started Jericho Sims in place of Towns in their win at the Philadelphia 76ers.

Sit him and let’s see how the Knicks do without him. Bring him back if they struggle.
