Their offensive line still is trash but your looking at the two most talented WR on the same team. Whose stopping that.

Maybe throw in Ed Ingram as well if they're putting the 2019 LSU Tigers offense back together.

If Raiders nail these GM & Head Coach selections and we can be MORE healthy relatively in the next season esp on D#.

I can see us making the playoffs. Also gotta nail our draft picks & FA pick ups.

That's a lot of nailing, GRog...I love the optimism!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Rumor was Patriots 2nd plus a conditional 3rd (if they win division) for AJ Brown. Philly should absolutely say no. They are trying to win now. Only way it would make sense is if AJ wants out and can't get along with Hurts.

Again, I do not think this will happen but this would be awesome! Two 1sts to Tennessee or Cleveland for Dak.

Jerry Jones could make a career DEFINING move this offseason

This account must not be a Cowboys fan, because Cowboys fans have told me Jerry Jones is still a winner due to events that happened 30 years ago.

Well when you win the Super Bowl that doesn’t make you a loser.

But 28 years of losing don't make you a loser?

Even if we assume that valuation is accurate and Dak waives his no trade, would you want to have Sanders start his career with a skeleton crew because you are 70million in hole at the quarterback position? He is not a type of prospect that will carry a team and probably needs lot of offensive line and run game help to succeed initially.

If the last 28 years are any indication, the Cowboys won the SB in spite of him, not because of him.

I always want to start this by saying we both know this will not happen. We are just speaking hypothetically.

If the Cowboys could make this trade I wouldn’t mind Sanders playing his first year under duress. Remember his dad will be the coach. Deion is not going to allow his son to be ruined just because the Cowboys are cash strapped his rookie season. Deion would likely sit his son to protect him (and his future) is the line isn’t protecting him.

The ripple effect that would have is, the Cowboys likely have another bad season and would end up with another top 10 pick next year (not to mention the second 1st round pick from Tennessee or Cleveland). So they would enter the 2026 off season with two 1st round picks (one being a top 10 pick), all of Dak’s money off the books, and Deion/Shedeur going into their 2nd season. To be honest I wouldn’t mind that at all, even if it meant another terrible season in 2025.

But according to you any season you don't win the SB, you're a loser.

How would you feel about a boxer who won 3 matches early in his career but then lost 30 matches?

Would you call him a winner?

He won 3 Super Bowls yes he’s a winner. I’m not sure why you’re having a hard time understanding that.

I would not be very faithful in that Sanders hypothetical.

But, if Dallas does pull the trigger on acquiring Shedeur, however it is they do it....then that's my quarterback.

I will say that the media hoopla and attention that would come with Deion and his son in Dallas would be so next level that I almost want it to happen for that reason. Just to see the a circus of that insane magnitude. This is all for our entertainment, and that would be a very entertaining situation.

That would be Jerry going full on Barnum and Bailey.

Yes it would, and if he does that? All I can do is get my popcorn ready.

It's not that championships stop counting, it's that they become less and less relevant as time goes on

The Bulls had one of the greatest runs of any team in NBA history for 8 years, but that doesn't matter in 2025 when in the last 27 years they haven't even made the Finals, and only made the Conference Finals once. Same thing for the Cowboys.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

Is Glass Joe a winner? He's got 1 KO after all.

Jerry Jones is the NFL GM equivalent of Glass Joe.
