14 pts / 13 REB / 6 BLK / 3 PF in the last 905 game and just a reminder the kid is younger than most college freshman this year.
Nice to have him stored in the background and I'm excited to see what kind of impact he can have for the main squad once he's 21/22

I'm getting excited -- the progress he's making in such a short period of time is quite impressive

They have a plan and it is best that they stick with it until such time as they decide that the plan is holding him back. I don;t see that yet.

Ulrich Chomche is the nine tailed beast of the raptors
He hasn’t fully been summoned yet but best believe when he does he’s gonna be elite
Has the highest upside of all players on this team with the exception of maybe Scottie B

His progression? You don't try to teach someone quantum mechanics when they are still learning calculus.

Gotta be very patient and methodical with this guy. He's only 19. Let him develop in the g-league this season. Maybe give him some garbage minutes in the last couple months of the season... maybe. Just let him do his thing. He's super raw still.
He will be a beast in a few years.

He has a higher ceiling than Scottie just based on being 6'11 in shoes. If Ulrich can grow just 1 more inch he'll match the Giannis physical profile and has a limitless ceiling to be Giannis with 3pt shooting.

I disagree. We should be tanking and giving him live minutes for 4-5 games straight. Then you send him down to the GLeague so he can get reps there. It's like trying a max bench press and failing, then dropping 25% of the weight and crushing it. I want to see Chomche in extended minutes against at least bench level NBA talent.
In March I'm hoping we see:
Mogbo / Chomche
Barnes / Omoruyi
Barrett / Agbaji / Battle (signed)
Dick / Walter
IQ / Shead
Then I assume we get bare bone pieces back for Poeltl / Olynyk / Brown / Mitchell and Boucher but mostly picks ranging from 2027 - 2031. That'll be our contention window when we would be buyers so if we have assets to be able to fill our needs that would be good.

Welcome to the world of bootcamps. I work in the QM field and to be honest you don't need a really strong calculus background, there are parts of calc that are completely unrelated. I would honestly say that most of the educated Canadian population is capable of learning most professions on the job.
Chomche has baseline skills, he can defend his position, play help defense, and he can rebound. If he can't score or shoot it's a problem but he won't be leaking points like Barrett and Dick do (rank top 10 in worst defenders in the NBA).
If we're playing GD we can play Chomche.

This is likely a bad approach. Remove tanking from the equation. If we are concerned with the best progression path for Chomche, a year in the g-league is almost certainly best.
This idea that 'throwing someone into the fire' is a good thing for progression is misguided. The last thing you want is for a young, raw player like Chomche to feel they don't belong playing at this level.

Masai and co still have PTSD about how they went about doing this with Caboclo. They will not rush this.

Come on man. Dick has legit NBA skills.
Chomche right now is a future possibility. But he certainly doesn't belong anywhere near an NBA floor and without two-ways, he would be a classic G-League guy who gets a 10-day maybe towards April.
If Chomche was an NBA level defender he would have seen minutes. There is really nothing to suggest thus far he is.
Let him just grow, and towards the end of the year he will get his minutes. LIkely another year of G-League next year too.

Set the filter for minimum 200 minutes played and then hit Ctrl + F and enter "TOR |"
We have 5 players in the top 50 ranking for worst players in the league bro. It's headlined by Shead (#2) and Gradey (#21).
Other notables are Battle (#28), Mitchell (#35), and Barrett (#47).
The young guys are okay, maybe they'll pull themselves out of there but RJ and Davion are vets. We can't develop garbage into valuable assets.

Drafting him.

I disagree. I will always believe there was an nba player in there. If we had a g-league team from the start and he only came up with his confidence built up, I think he could have had a solid career in the Chris Boucher range or perhaps better. The throwing them into the fire style is not always a great idea.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….
