In Becky we trust

Becky hates small guards, she runs a bigger guards for defensive reasons. I think she would have them trade Brunson. This isn't even about her trash talking him either it goes against her offensive philosophy.

Trade Brunson for bench help, start Bridges at PG

Observation from outside:
Hartenstein was out against the #1 team in the league, so OKC put an undrafted rookie big in their rotation.
Branden Carlson (I never heard the name before either) scored 6 points in the first quarter.
The lesson: you don't need "great", "perfect" or "incredible" (adjectives from your minutes debate in recent threads) bench players to fill a useful role in rotation. There are literally hundreds of marginal guys who just need a proper structure, coaching and development to do a job off the bench. Good luck with Thibs.

It also helps having the best player in the league getting all the shots he desires.

Y’all dont think having a new wave coach who understands today’s game matters?
Have a look at what’s happening in Sacramento right now

Yea fuq two HOF NBA Champions who played for Thibs siding with the minutes police, because it doesn’t fit my loyal to a fault agenda!

Christie’s running plays for Monk, Murray, and giving Lyles some more rope off the bench. Whereas Brown had the team playing fast with force feeding Sabonis or pulling up with fox, Christie’s got the ear of the team a little more. Maybe as an assistant coach he had the belief of a lot of bench guys, now that he’s taken over, they probably feel like “hey my coach believes in me, lemme go to work.”

non-minutes police here. thibs fan as well.

i both understand and agree with a lot of what they are saying.

i didn't work "played for thibs" into my evaluation this time because they played for him as an assistant like a generation ago. a lot has changed (both to their point and outside its scope).

but yeah, they know him more intimately than most who will weigh in. i find it fascinating and constructive after all.
