With the Embiid news, Philly would be intriguing sellers. I can see Oubre, Martin, and Yabusele drawing interest from a number of teams.

I would hope OKC has interest in Yabusele. The Sixers certainly should have interest in obtaining their pick back.

What is it called when you’re a team that have obvious needs and have the ability to get better with minimal effort, but won’t because you’re too risk adverse, lack any type of creativity and if the trade isnt franchise altering you want nothing to do with it?

You’re completely content with your current team regardless of outcome/injuries or blatant needs and even though your team can and is ready to compete at a high level NOW you choose to coast because your team is young enough to justify it for a few seasons to recoup some of the money you lost during the rebuild?

Is that just called smart business lol?

Going to be interesting to see what Sac does.

The expectation is they are going to be buyers, but if they have a bad read on Fox, that could maybe push them into selling him.

The Cousins and Hali trades were both out of nowhere. So even though the word is Kings are doing everything they can to get Fox to stay, that could be a bluff.

The other factor is the Kings need a 6’8” and longer wing. Those guys are hard to find and hard to trade a guard to acquire. You almost always have to give up a better guard just to get an average wing.

Hard to see Clippers selling, and hard to see them buy with the limited assets they have. Wouldn't be surprised if they shopped some of the overloaded wing guys they have like Mann or Coffey, especially if they feel Jordan Miller is ready and convert him. Bones as well would probably be on the block, and I'd hope Porter, albeit, can't see anyone really offering for Kevin. PJ Tucker as expiring ballast is the best asset they have, sadly.

Jazz are most likely a seller who can also take on additional money to help other teams dip below the tax.

Picks or a young player the Jazz like. Clearing books is not a value.

Utah doesn't want additional money beyond next season. Probably puts a damper on this.

Just depends on what incentive comes attached to that salary.

I doubt the Rockets do anything.
Jock Landale is probably available and they can take back as much as $15.5 M for his $8 M (basically expiring) contract.
They have an open roster spot and can use the NTMLE to take on a player without sending anything out.
They’ll probably listen to what’s available, then wait for the buyout market.
If nothing materializes, I could see them converting Nate Williams two-way to a standard contract for the rest of the season.
